Story
Marlee Hello world, meet Marlee! This sweet little redhead is one of the newest family members of Southern Arizona Beagle Rescue. She was rescued from a shelter in Texas after an amazing group of people all got together to save her life. Marlee is about 3-4 years old and 42 lbs (needs to be closer to 50). She's spayed, up to date with her vaccinations, house trained and crate trained. She's a little timid around other dogs with first meeting, but has settled in with her foster sisters quite nicely. She has not been cat tested, but that can be arranged. Marlee is a medium energy dog. She loves to be out and moving, but also really enjoys napping in a sunbeam and calms easy. She would be great for someone who wants a running or hiking partner, but would also do fine in a laid back home as long as she gets her daily walk and mental stimulation. Marlee would benefit from basic training to improve her leash skills as well and boost her confidence. Marlee's adoption fee is $275. If you would like to adopt her, please go to our web site to fill out an application. https://soazbeaglerescue.com/ This dog's adoption fee is a minimum $275.00 donation to help us save more dogs. Southern Arizona Beagle Rescue, SoAZBR is an all-volunteer group. One hundred percent of your donation is used for the care and treatment needy beagles. Your donation is 100% tax deductible, too. We URGENTLY need fosters so we can help save more dogs.  If you can help, please contact us. Story
I adopted Hudson about 6 months ago. He has been a good and very loving boy since I brought him home. I can't keep him for several reasons. I have gotten a different job and I travel too much and I don't want him staying at boarding kennels a lot. I also want to adopt a baby in the next year or two and I have learned that Hudson is really good and loving with people but he is not good with kids, according to the trainer. He has some resource guarding of food and toys that never was an issue with me, being the alpha, but could be an issue if a child was in the home and didn't know any better and took his toys from him or played with his food etc. He needs to be in a home with adults. He loves to cuddle with me on the couch. And if I let him, he will snuggle up next to me in bed. However, he is very comfortable in his big crate for naps, bedtime and when I am gone. He loves walks and seeing people. He is completely housebroken and never has accidents.

Story
Hello everyone, my name is Woodstock and I am looking for my Charlie Brown! I’m a 6 year old good boy looking for a forever home. I’m very friendly, energetic and ready to play with you. I’m very sweet with humans and I love their attention. I am not a fan of living with dogs and it is recommended that I do not have one in my home. I am not good with cats and I should not go to a home with that has them. I can be a bit vocal if I am left alone in a backyard, but that's because I want to tell the world how cool I am. Are you going to take me home and make me your best friend? Please call 520 327 6088 ext. 173 if you would like to schedule an appointment to meet me today!

Story
SCOUT came to us as a stray the day after Thanksgiving. She is assumed around 2.5 years of age. She has been fully vetted and spayed and is microchipped. She is a very sweet dog who loves to snuggle next to you with a blanket. She would be best in an only dog home with an experienced adopter. No young children. So far she has shown to be dog selective and only at certain times. She is very very vocal and very energetic. She loves to go for walks or to go for runs. She is not food aggressive, at least with us and is able to eat in the same room as our dogs. She is toy protective and will give a warning growl when you try to take a toy from her. She does not trust easily and hates the vet. She would need an experienced adopter or someone who has experience with hounds and can be home with her to work with her. She was doing well with her crate but has regressed over the last week or so and it has been a battle. She walks great on a leash with a gentle lead but will tug without one.
