Howdy, Tex! 12 year old Tex was found as a stray and wound up at the shelter. He must have belonged to someone because he is the best boy! He is potty trained, is social with dogs, and people. He went to the vet this week and has a suspected splenic mass so he is going in for an ultrasound soon. Tex is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling. Here's an update from his Fling mom: "I have to say Tex is the best boy, he’s very sweet, and has a huge heart. He talks when he needs to go to the bathroom.Tex loves to carry his blanket with him wherever he goes. I t’s really hard not to fall into those deep eyes of his when he stares at you.  His appetite is back, and he loves his food especially though if it’s from a can. &#239&#191&#188&#239&#191&#188 He loves going for walks and going for car rides. Dallas is a 7 years old hound mix. He loves people including children. He enjoys being active, but is chill if he only gets bathroom breaks on a busy day. He just wants to be with people. He is almost human with endearing facial expressions and hand shakes. The only reason I’m putting him up for adoption, is my wife has health issues and keeping him is impossible. He will make a great addition to anyone how loves him. He is very attentive to humans and loves being by your side. He is a sweetheart. He is crate trained. And goes there for quiet time. He is a hound, so his bark is loud and powerful, but you hear it only when the doorbell rings. He doesn’t bay or continuously bark like some hounds. He gained a little weight from your lives being preoccupied but is ready and willing to walk it off!

I am Kelly, a three year coonhound who was brought to Barc Bmdr to find a new forever home.  My owner loved me very much but I was much too active for her to take me for her walks.  If I saw a rabbit or a squirrel, I just had to chase and she was not strong enough to control me.  I would love to become a part of an active family who has the time and energy to take me on walks or hikes.  For more information about me please call 951-845-1513 to make an appointment to meet me.
