Story
Mateo is a 2 year old coonhound mix that we got from a family friend. He is very loving, cuddly (even though he doesn’t know his size), and active. We started to take him on walks regularly and he almost never pulls at his leash, and almost never barks at other people or dogs while on walks. Even when he is in our fenced in yard he will not bark at people or dogs walking by, but will occasionally bark if the dog next door is out (we share a fence). In the home, he is potty trained, but will need to monitor water in take and take our more frequently the more he drinks. He is crate trained as well, we will give new owners crate, bedding, and toys. We are looking for a home with no other dogs, or with dogs around his size. He does not get along with our two smaller dogs and they are afraid to be near him, which is the main reason we are looking to re-home him. He can be very shy, but once he gets to know someone, he is just a super loving baby!

Ellie is a sweet girl. She is around 2 1/2. She still has a lot of puppy in her. She is a smart dog, but needs training. She has been great around kids, and other dogs. She has never been around cats that we know of. She loves to be outside, but she does seem to be afraid of the dark. She does seem to be a little skittish at times. Oh and she loves to be groomed! She is all girl!

Pulled from the shelter, Basil has some age on her.  Her eyes are not the best and she doesn't hear as well as she once did, but she's got a nose that won't quit and enough spunk to run with the young dogs!!  Don't let her age fool you or deter you!  This girl is ready and willing to go!  Meet Basil at our adoption event each Saturday at the Harbison PetSmart. Troy is a handsome American Coonhound with a quiet manner. He is friendly with people but can be shy in new circumstances. His personality has started to blossom with those that he knows. He was fostered for a short time and is housetrained. He enjoys running and playing with other dogs with similar play styles. He would love a fenced in yard to let him explore and have his outside time. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. Date of birth is 7/27/16 and he weighs 60 pounds. Troy is looking for a loving home to join. *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County for an adoption fee.
