Super sweet coonie boy. Loves to play and then cuddle at night. Low prey drive. Eager to please. A little timid at first but then gets along with everyone. Scars on his coat from a rough past but beautiful soul. History of neglect/starvation- Now obsessed with food... but no guarding. Has become a little chubby now. Having some difficulty with house training.

Say hello to Savannah. Savannah is a five-year-old, female, Coonhound, who weighs 56 pounds. Savannah came to the WAHS as a stray and cannot wait to find a new furever home. She is a sweet, affectionate, and gentle girl who enjoys meeting new people. Savannah is your typical Coonhound who loves following a scent and exploring the outdoors! We have also learned when she finds a scent; she will do anything to keep on track. Savannah will need to be leashed on all walks or have a high fenced in area to keep her safe. This girl is a bit selective with the dogs she likes, so we will conduct meet and greets with Savannah and any potential fur sibling. Overall, Savannah will be a happy gal with a companion she can go on adventures with and explore outside. She cannot go home with children under ten-years-old. Stop in and meet Savannah!

I lived outside in a 10x10 kennel, so I'll need to learn house manners. I miss my small human, I would do well in a home with children. I don't mind cats, but I'm a little picky when it comes to doggie friends. We would need to have a meet and greet with any dogs I would be living with.
