Courtesy Post for Adopt A Dog Save A Life  Winnie is a dear 9 year-old Corgi mix in need of a forever home. Winnie is in our rescue because her owner was moving and not able to bring her along. Winnie’s foster mom tells us that Winnie is great with people and affectionate - she loves attention and is very social. Winnie is in excellent health - she loves long walks and also runs with her foster mom. Winnie is best as the only dog in the house. She isn’t fond of other dogs or cats - she wants all the attention to herself! A house with a fenced yard would be ideal, but her foster mom lives in an apartment and she does fine. Winnie is well-mannered in the house, but does not like to be left home alone for long stretches of time. She would do well with someone who works from home or is newly retired. Winnie is good in the car. She is not used to children so we will only consider an adult home. Winnie weighs 33 pounds. Her vetting is up-to-date (spayed, vaccinated, microchipped) and she recently had her teeth cleaned. If you feel you can give lovely Winnie a safe and loving home, please see the adoption information and application on our website (www.adoptadogsavealife.com). Our adoption process includes an online application, a telephone interview, a home visit and a meeting with the dog. An adoption fee of $150.00 applies. Winnie is in a foster home in Toronto. Adult, Female, Medium
