Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Lola, or as my closest friends call me, low-ridin Lola! I'm an adorable, 27 lb daschund and rat terrier mix. I am looking for a forever home without any men or children. While I sometimes warm up to men, I am generally nervous and uncomfortable around them, so an all-female home is preferred. I have a sweet, fun, quirky personality once I know and trust you, but it does take me time to warm up to new people. For this reason, I am looking for a family that will be patient & understand that it may take a few weeks for us build a bond. Also, one that will be careful with introductions to family/friends, strangers, etc who will meet me in or outside the home. There are three things I enjoy most - spending time & cuddling with my humans, being outdoors, and food! If you are looking for a cuddle bug, couch potato, lap dog, napping buddy, etc.. I'm your girl! I absolutely love being with my human whether it be by your side watching a movie, taking a mid afternoon snooze or while you get work done on your computer. Just the sight of my foster mom walking into the room makes my tail pitter patter uncontrollably. The only other thing that gets my body wiggling just as much as my foster mom is the sight of my food bowl! I looove meal time and I do a little dance until my food bowl is on the floor. My next favorite place to be is outside! I love rolling around in the grass and sunbathing. I get so comfy in the sun that I have actually fallen asleep out in the yard for naps. I am also great on leash and love exploring the neighborhood on walks. My foster mom says it's super cute watching my tiny legs work overtime to keep up with the pace of my foster siblings. Other things to know about me are that I am potty trained, crate trained and get along with other dogs as I currently live in a home with 4 other furry siblings. While I love my pack, my foster mom thinks I would be fine with one other dog or even as the only dog since I most prefer attention from my humans. I love going on adventures and ride great in the car. My foster mom constantly tells me I am absolutely precious and there is a very special & patient family out there that is going to find a loyal, sweet forever friend. If I sound like the perfect addition to your family, please complete an adoption application and I'll see you soon!
