Story
Hi, my name is Alfie. I'm a fabulous mutt with some obvious Corgi and Pitt beauty. The vet says I'm probably around 8 months old. I live for cuddles and will clean your face with total adoration. I spend the day following my foster mom around the house and crawling into laps. I'm just going through potty training, but I'm an excellent student who takes correction very well. I adapt well to all dogs but I'd really like a friend who wants to play.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cardigan Welsh Corgi mixFinch and his siblings were owner surrendered.   Their mom is a full bred Corgi, and Dad is a Corgi mix.    This litter will need a lot of TLC, at 6 months old, they have had very little human interaction.  They are fearful, and shy.  We are doing our best to socialize them and expect that they will respond well and quickly. They are not appropriate for small children and only will be adopted to families with older (over 10) considerate children.   This is for their safety as well as the child.   There will be no exceptions.  ========================================================= Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application . Puppies that are under 4 months old cannot be adopted outside of our Veterinary Service area.  Please call for specific locations. Children under 8 years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs.   In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events.  Thank you for considering a rescue! The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it. NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others. AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
