Billy is a great dog with a lovable personality. He is housebroken and crate trained although he will have accidents if left too long. He was in a home with children ranging from 3 years to 13 years and is playful and friendly with them. He seems to not like other dogs and cats. He was kenneled around cats in the shelter and he did really well with the cats but he may chase them when they are free. He can be timid to strangers and large people but he is very friendly towards people he knows. An experienced owner would be best for him. Dorian is a big personality and quite the handsome fellow! He has a winning smile and soulful eyes. He loves going on walks and exploring the dog park. Dorian does need an adult only home with plenty of dog experience. He tends to guard his resources which could include food, toys, or holes that he digs. Once he gets to know you he tends to relax more and doesn't show these guarding tendencies as much. He does need a little time to warm up to his people, but once he does he can be very snuggly and sit in your lap. He lives with other dogs at the sanctuary and has liked many of the dogs he meets. If you're looking for a medium-sized guy and don't mind taking some time to build trust, ask to meet Dorian and he'll win over your heart!

Barley is an outgoing little fluff ball who loves to go on adventures. His short little legs and his age have never held him back! He's always up for romping around, rolling on his back, and simply having a grand ol' time. Barley enjoys the company of his people friends and does very well after some relationship building. He would need his potential new family to come meet him at Dogtown to make sure it is a good fit. Although guarding has been a challenge for him, as a single dog in the home and patience from his people, he thrives! A couple of his all time favorite things to do are playing fetch with a rotation of squeaky toys and get pets when he's comfortable and ready.
