Winston came to join my dog Sophie and I when my niece bought a townhouse and had too many animals. He is so adorable and likes Sophie and I, so we decided to try. Winston is very afraid of strangers and other dogs. He will warm up to people if left alone and allowed to approach at his own pace. Once Winston likes you...he is absolutely adorable!! I've had a professional trainer come to the house to work with him and she is very willing to provide her files on him. His other issue is with being housebroken. He wears a diaper day and night, but is usually dry when I get home from work. My thoughts, and the trainer's, are that if he were to be in a quiet neighborhood (mine is much too active with people and dogs) with a fenced in back yard, the only dog in the home and someone was home most of the time, he would be perfect!! Winston is cuddly, playful and affectionate but this isn't the right place for him. I love this little guy!

Meet Red! He is a 5 year old dauschund that is in need of some serious TLC! He was part of cruelty seizure and when I got him he was covered in poop! His ears and his whole body and tail looked like someone had just rubbed it all over him. He is a very sweet dog, good with kids, cats and dogs. He appears to be housebroken and is crate trained. Magic is the sweetest little girl! She is always seeking out attention from anyone and everyone. She is happiest when she is being held or cuddled. She is good with other dogs and does well with cats and kids. She is most comfortable with kids and females. She is 18 lbs and around 3 years old. Magic would do best in a household where she gets plenty of lap time and attention. She is not a fan of being in a kennel or locked in a room. She is fine being loose in the house if needed. She is house trained but will also use a potty pad if you have one down. She loves to romp and play in the yard. She is not big on toys so far but that may change with time. Magic made the long journey here from Mexico and would love a family to call her own. She is eager to show her love for everyone. She prefers to sleep in bed with you under the covers but if you don't want her there, just don't start. :) Adoption fee is $300 plus tax Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org

Hi! I'm Sam. I'm from Arkansas. From his foster: Sam is an absolute sweetheart who loves nothing more than cuddling up with his human companions. He can be quite shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he's incredibly affectionate and loyal. He thrives on love and attention, and his gentle nature makes him a wonderful companion. Sam is both crate trained and potty trained. He has mastered the art of walking on a leash and enjoys going for leisurely strolls, even in the rain. Sam has also gets along well with both cats and dogs, making him an ideal addition to a multi-pet household. Sam is still learning to trust men, so patience and understanding are key in building his confidence. Additionally, while he can manage a small amount of stairs, he is still learning to navigate larger sets to access different floors in our home. With consistent encouragement and positive reinforcement, Sam will be able to master the stairs and more. Sam would thrive in a loving and patient home environment where he can receive the attention and reassurance he needs to continue to build his confidence. A family willing to give him the time and support to adjust and flourish would be perfect for him. He would do well with other pets and would enjoy a home with a cozy spot to cuddle up in and a fenced yard to explore safely. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.
