Story
It is with a very heavy heart that I look for a new home for this girl. She has been a fantastic friend since I first moved to Kansas City, and I really do love her with all my heart. Unfortunately though, she has not proven to do well with little ones and I have to put my 1-year old’s safety first. Agnes is loyal and sweet to her adult humans, but hasn’t taken well to a now very mobile infant. She has never snapped at our daughter, but she’s starting to growl more and you can see that she feels her territory is being threatened. I marked that she doesn’t get along with other dogs, but she has always lived with at least another dog (currently lives with 2) and will tolerate them, but likes to be top dog in the house. She is blind in 1 eye (it didn’t form correctly at birth), which also doesn’t help with a crawling baby, but it doesn’t require any sort of additional care. She is coming up on her 10th birthday (born 12/2/2009), and I really just want to find her a wonderful new home!
