Story
Nicki is a very sweet dog, dalmatian and I don't know what else. She got along with all of the dogs and cats at the shelter. But when we got her home she and the female dog that we already have are fighting. She has no trouble with the male dog we have just the female. Mostly the fights are when one or the other of them thinks they are protecting the humans. She knows several commands and I have taught her a couple in the two weeks that we have had her, she is trainable. She loves to cuddle but is just as happy curling up in the same room as you

Story
ISO forever home: Is anyone looking to add a rescue dog to their family? Been through multiple levels of training at Petco, crate trained, house trained, playful, handsome young boy. Chipper is neutered, up to date on shots, and about 1 year old. Why does he need a home? He has started fighting the other dog that has been in our family for 7 years. He is a sweet dog just plays rough, but the older dog has been with us for 7 years first sooooo kinda stuck in an awkward situation. Trying to find him a good home. Let me know if you are interested!

Story
Aldis is an all around great dog. He is very well behaved in the house and the yard and loves to go for walks and cool down in the water on a hot summer day. He likes to keep you company on the couch in the evenings and do not forget to give him a lot of love. Aldis was born in June 2014 so he is still quite young but grew out of the rambunctious teenager age. Call me if you have more questions about Aldis Sabine 405-830-7220

Story
Pluto is the friendliest dog you will ever meet. We recently moved and can't keep our dogs inside our new house. Pluto does not like to be contained. He will find anyway to escape from a fenced in area or crate. He is house trained and hasn't had an accident in the house since he was a puppy. He is about 1 1/2 now. Pluto would be best if he lived on a farm or was an inside dog because he does require a lot of attention if he is left alone in a fenced in area or crate. We used to leave him out while we left for work or run errands and he was a good boy. He is allergic to fleas, and he got a pill from the vet to keep them away. I believe he may need another when summer comes back around. We just want a good home for our sweet boy.

Story
XENA Breed: Catahoula/ Chinese Shar Pei / Adoption fee is $100 / Sex: Female / Age: 1 / Weight: Approximately 45 pounds  Hello, my name is Xena and I'm a Shar Pei mix! I am just a young thing and I have not been here at Pet Angels long. I am adorable and quite energetic. I will chase a ball but I haven't mastered the technique of bringing back to you yet. I do not have many manners yet, and I will need some training, but I love tummy rubs! I will be a wonderful family pet and companion with the proper training and patience of a loving family. House Manners: She uses a propped doggie door to use the restroom. During her room test, Xena ripped stuffing out of toys, but did not mark anywhere inside as long as the doggie door is propped open. She would whine if she heard people outside the door and would claw at the door. Basic Training: Xena can walk well on a leash but will still pull at times and does not seem to know basic commands. She can be a little mouthy when she plays. She will not stay in a wire kennel but does well in the plastic crates Other Dogs: Xena has done well with other dogs, but she will likley be paired with a male dog better Cats: Ignores and respects cats Kids: Has been around teenagers and loves them, she is a little mouthy with her play for young kids Fencing: Xena is in our 6ft kennel run and has made no attempt to escape. The adoption fee is $100.This dog has had its age appropriate Vaccinations brought up to date with Rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic dewormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped by 24Petwatch with free registration , and also comes with 30 days of free 24Petwatch Pet Insurance . Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption: We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heartworm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information. We asked that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet and obtain their heartworm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered as some pets may need additional de-womers after leaving our care.   Please submit an Pre-Adoption Application by clicking our logo button below (if visible) or visiting www.petangelsrescue.org to show your interest in adoption (Only submit one app). This questionnaire simply helps inform us if the dog you are interested in might match your families dynamics based on what we have learned about that dog. All of our pets at Pet Angels Rescue are featured on our independent website and can be accessed from our PETS FOR ADOPTION PAGE, take a look as there may be more than one at our facility that you like. We do not have staffed phones for questions, please visit these pages on our main web site, Before You Adopt & Adoption Process & App. if you don't find the information you are needing please submit a E-mail.
