He has never tried to escape. The height of the fence is preventative measures.ADOPT ME! Bandit 9 year old Dalmatian mix Bandit is a very smart, easy going, gentle lover boy that does not act his age at all. He is great with elementary age kids and older, dogs, men and women. He is not a fan of cats. Bandit is being fostered with Clasp foster dog Ginger. He has been her therapy dog helping her adjust to living with people. Bandit loves to play tug-of-war, chase and wrestle. He loves splashing in shallow water and had a blast at NRHH2O 2019 Doggy Beach Bash. He is a great co-pilot in the car. He loves going to dog friendly events. Bandit loves nothing but meeting as many new people as possible. While he loves to be active, he also loves being a couch potato snuggled up to his person. He has been a perfect gentleman in his foster home. Bandit is house trained and has been very easy to crate train. Bandit does not hike his leg. He is great on a leash and knows several commands such as sit, high five and shake. His teeth and his personality trick people into thinking he is around 2-3. This guy is ready to start his new life with one very lucky family. If you have any questions about Bandit, email Gayla at gaylawithclasp@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE $200 Bandit is neutered, utd on vaccinations, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, on flea & tick prevention, negative fecal and microchipped. Rescue Story-Bandit was adopted April of 2010 as a puppy. Soon after, his family started having children. Bandit was banished to the backyard after their first child was born because if Bandit barked the baby woke up. So there he lived alone in the backyard for 7 years until we got him the 4th week of June 2019. According to Bandit's adopter, he was great with his kids that are elementary age and older. Bandit's life has done a 360 and you can see how happy he is by his constant wagging tail and his big grin. He loves living indoors and being part of a family. Despite banishing Bandit to the backyard, he has 14 pages of vet records showing he has had superb routine vet care including regular dentals. You can fill out an adoption application at www.cowtownpets.org

Story
Jazmine is a two year old Dalmatian mix. She is a sweet girl full of energy that loves to play and walk. I need to rehome her due to change in family situation. She is good with kids, crate trained. She is fearful of other dogs but with some training could do well. She is super social and loves to be where the action is. Hoping to find home with caring owner or family that is active and wants a friend.

Reno: 4 year old neutered male catahoula leopard dog mix, about 73 lbsReno is such a sweetheart. Reno came to us from a situation where many dogs where being dumped in the country and the property owner needed help. He is very laid back and sweet. He likes other dogs and does pretty good on a leash. He is a little shy meeting new people but does warm up quickly. He is new to 4P2L and working on house manners as we believe he may have only been an outside dog. More info to come as we get to know him. Story
Shadow has been in his foster home only a short time. But in those few days / weeks, he’s shown how quickly he can become attached to “his” human! He’s a gentle guy, despite his 60 pounds. The vet has guessed him to be quite young (roughly 12 – 15 months old in early November.) Shadow gets along wonderfully with his foster’s 100lb Rottweiler mix, but two additional family dogs have recently joined the household, and they’ve decided they don’t like Shadow at all! Despite their attitudes toward him, he’s shown great restraint! He’s housetrained, but doesn’t appreciate a crate! He can be nervous, becoming startled at loud noises. He quickly learned how to “sit”, and his foster is working to teach him he doesn’t have to eat as if he were in a race! He’s a handsome, kind dog who would needs a family to love! If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Shadow is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
