Story
Welcome Rey Rey. She is a 1.5-year-old Staffordshire/Dalmatian blend is our guess. She is about 45 to 50 pounds full grown. This girl was found with her puppies. She was the most amazing momma dog. She wouldn’t leave the puppies side for 6 weeks. She would literally just leave for the most necessary things and then back in to be with her pups. I think being a deaf momma had it’s challenges because she couldn’t hear her babies cries. She had them in the wild before being taken in and she needed to keep them safe. Incredible foster moms took her and the pups in. She helped the family and all the puppies have found homes now. The foster for Rey Rey has come to CCPAL for help finding the momma a home. She is a deaf dog and is working on hand commands with her foster family. She is good on a leash, likes car rides, she is good in a crate, potty trained, good with other dogs and protective of her family and what she considers her people. She would be a great dog for a family. She has been around an 11-year-old and a 3-year-old and she loves the kids. We would say kids that are 7 or older as a general rule on all adult dogs. She would be great with a family that has had a deaf dog or someone that is deaf and knows the challenges that you face. She will need a fenced yard as recall is not possible. She is great on a leash so walking her will be easy. She is up on her shots, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She loves car rides. She recently was spayed and had a tick removed from her ear canal and a small cyst from the other ear. She still cannot hear but now she has perky upright ears. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to deliver her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to maudreyh@aol.com for an application. See her cute video!!

Story
Welcome Romeo. He is a 2-year-old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. He has a robust body with the really floppy down ears. He is good with other dogs, good with people and ready for his forever home. He is submissive and will belly flop if another dog challenges him. He is an active boy so his best home would be with someone that likes to hike, jog, run or be active. He will settle down for a snuggle too after he has had his play time. He is good with people and will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. He was pulled off the euthanasia list and is now in CCPAL Rescue looking for his forever home. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185. Story
Hello! This handsome boy is Bruce. He is approximately 8 years old and all he wants to do is be by your side. I have recently had some things come up and I cannot keep him and it pains me dearly. I have exhausted all my options and this is my last resort. Bruce is one of the best dogs and all he wants to do is cuddle and sleep. He does have some anxiety going outside so he prefers to be in. He is not good with any small animals like cats but he gets along great with most dogs. He's great with people of all ages as well. He tends to have some separation anxiety but we have worked with him on it and improved it a lot but he will still need some attention. I want to make sure he goes to the best possible person and would love to set a meetup up to introduce him to someone new. He is current on all shots and takes a monthly flee preventative.

Story
We took max for a friend who was unableto have him anymore. we were kepping him till her situation was better but its only gotten worse, due to this reason she and I have both come to the conclusion to rehome max He is an amazing dog he just needs somone who has a lot patience and energy. He sheds alot so be prepared. But other then that he is such a good dog this just wasn't our plan to have two dog and now need to rehome him. Max will be coming with his prong collar, leash, a bag of his food, bowles and toys. He was once kenneled but is no longer but we still have the kennel (its a bit dented from him getting out) but if u prefer him to be kenneled that can come with him as well.
