Story
Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. You only need 2 words to describe this fella: Gentle Giant!  Hello out there. I am Zeus from Bahrain. I'm a 4 year old Doberman/Rottweiler mix - yeah, I know, it's an impressive combo! I'm 88 lb and 35 inches tall.  The thing is, people tend to have the wrong impression about me. Just because I'm a big Dobie/Rottie doesn't mean I'm a tough nut. That couldn't be further from the truth. In actual fact, I'm a giant cuddle-bug who wouldn't hurt a fly (or a cat!). Probably because of that misguided impression I've spent the past 3 years here at the rescue centre waiting to be adopted. My owners surrendered me back when I was just a year old. I guess I was bigger than they expected and they just didn't want me anymore.  I kept hoping someone would take the time to get to know me and see what a loving, obedient and loyal dog I am. But it hasn't happened... so now I'm placing my trust in Loved At Last to find me a home. I LOVE playing with other dogs and despite my size, I tend to be submissive with them.  It would be fabulous if I ended up in a home with a dog-friend and a yard for us both to play in. I am an energetic dog and would love to be able to run around. Look at me being a silly goofball in this video: https://youtu.be/Ikm_9TFccno. Aren't I such a ham?! I'm even good with cats!! Check out my video - https://youtu.be/lXnSTMpXd38 - who would have thought that you could put a big doggy like me in a room with 10+ cats and I'd be totally chill!  If you're up for it perhaps we could even be jogging buddies. Mind you, I'm a strong boy, so you'd need to feel pretty confident you could manage me; a halti might help with that.  Have I mentioned how much I adore people and have a special place in my heart for those that give me belly rubs?  Ah, what I wouldn't give to be part of a family who would give me belly rubs every day ((https://youtu.be/Lcl3XVWrxUE)) I loveeeee the belly rubs!! I hope that doesn't make me sound like I'm high maintenance. Really I'm not. Just some affection is what I long for. That, and to know that I finally have a home. I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and my adoption fee of $500 CAD includes my airfare to Canada. *Note: because I have had tick fever in the past I will require an annual course of Doxycycline as a preventative measure.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website,  http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/  and to read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.    Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. Story
Name: Buzz Currently fostering in Taiwan.  (Overseas adoption; will fly to new home once adopted)   Photo Album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ceradogs/albums/72157706855515851 Video Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0QrVhMKT6KkcjKQm5kwl96Y5TTjGDoNY   Sex: Male (Neutered) Age: 3.5 years old (as of June 2019) Breed(s): Doberman Pinscher Colour(s): Brown and tan Weight: 78lbs / 35.4kg   Personality: Lively, playful, and goofy   Buzz enjoys getting attention from people, playing fetch, and finding ways to entertain himself.  He was a stray wandering up in mountains until being rescued.  He has tons of energy but can be clumsy or mischievous so he needs plenty of space especially a secured enclosed yard to romp around.  A Doberman experienced active home without other pets is necessary as his rude manners and towering presence annoy even the most gentle and docile dogs and cats.  He’s not suitable to attend dog parks and go to a family with young children.  Buzz has lots of love to give as well lots to learn.    Buzz is neutered (January-31-2018), up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed and tested negative for heartworm.   Blood Test April-23-2019 X-Rays January-31-2018 Patellar Luxation Examination April-26-2019 Daily ½ teaspoon of Trypsin, digestive enzyme prescribed to help with proper weight gain and 1 capusle of salmon oil given as supplement   Idexx SNAP® 4Dx® ( May-14-2017) Tested positive for Heartworm, treatment July-19-2017, July-20-2017, re-test Dirofilaria Immitis (Heartworm) November-21-2017 negative Idexx SNAP® 4Dx® (April-23-2019) Tested negative for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia Canis, and Anaplasma Phagocytophilum   Taiwan Genome Sciences PCR Test (April-26-2019) Tested negative for Babesia spp. (B.
