Story
My name is Luca, I am about 6 years old. My mom got me when I was a few months old from a neighbor who couldn't take care of me. At my new home I lived for a long time with my Doberman sister and Doberman brother. All was good for several years and then I got into 2 fights with my brother. I tried to beat him up and mom said I couldn't hang out with him anymore. Mom was able to keep me at our house, but I was really sad and needed more attention. So, mom found me a foster dad and that has been really awesome. I love hanging with him and his parrot, but my foster dad can't keep me anymore. It's time for me to find my forever home where I am the only dog, and there are no cats. I am super loving, gentle and easy-going. I rarely, rarely bark. I like to hang out in my indoor kennel or on a doggie bed, and I sleep in the kennel at night. I like to go on walks, but why exercise when you can nap! I like to play, but just for a few minutes a day. Mom says I'm really healthy.

Story
We adopted Max, a doberman mix from the Humane Society & are looking to re-home him. We both work full time & feel that we cannot offer him a proper home environment. We have limited history on Max, as he was found walking the streets as a stray. The Vet's estimate is that he is between 4 - 6 years old. He has been neutered & vaccinated. In our time with him, we have been working with a trainer & based on his experience, we think that Max was abused. The personality traits he exhibits are separation anxiety, aggression towards other dogs & nipping at new guests that come into the home. We think that Max could be successful in a different home situation. Based on his personality, we think that he needs an owner that has more experience with dogs of a similar personality & has a different work schedule than we do. He is very intelligent, loving, loyal, motivated by food & want's to please us. We have seen improvement with training, but given our work life, it is not sustainable for us.

Kale is an energetic 7 lb, 7 year old Miniature Pinscher mix. Kale is a spunky little fella that likes to hang out with his foster parents more than the other animals of the house. He does well with both men & women, but LOVES his foster dad in particular the most. Kale enjoys going on long walks to explore the neighborhood or can be found sunbathing in the window taking a nap. Kale coexists fine with the other dog in his foster home & even the cat.
