Story
Introducing Mama Theresa JuM The enemy of my enemy is my friend. That an ancient pawverb. Since the humans named me after Mother Theresa, I am feeling it necessary to have my bio start with a teachable moment. Possums are our friends. Repeat. Possums are our friends. Possums eat ticks. Humans and dogs hate ticks. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. I am currently on antibioticks for a tick borne disease called Ehrlichia pronounced errrrlickya. Furthermore, the xray vision photos that Dr G took also revealed more evidents, dents in my past. Tadah you have an old injury on your front right leg and right hip. That explains the limp. No surgery required but I am taking some glucosamine in the hopes that it kinda just glues by bones back together. Obviously due to that Vet report I have not been living on easy street. I am a sweet loving 4 year old 50 pound Doberman Labrador mix. Dr G even threw out Greyhound as a guesstimutt due to my elegant snout and super lanky legs. Super model mutterial right here. But wait, there is more, I am a litteral Mother and not in the way of Mother Theresa or Mother Nature. I actually was rescued from Laredo, Texas, along with a brood of 5 gorgeous babies. Unlike my puppies, I am crate trained and good on leash. I am good around other dogs and humans. In fact, I ADORE humans. I would prefer a home that does not have rowdy playful dogs because I am not too active due to my gimpy legs. I would enjoy a home with a place to relax and an evening stroll with my human or canine pal. My puppies are now weaned due to their shark teefers. They can eat the hard kibble. I am ready to start my own life. A better life than the one I existed in prior to rescue. My tick disease will clear up with the antibioticks, but my limp shall remain. I am hoping that you and I can make new memories to replace my first 4 years of things that I would rather forget. Cliff’s Notes: Mama Theresa JuM- sweet loving female 4yr black Lab/Doberman/Greyhound mix, 50 lbs, did test positive for Ehrilichia and is receiving treatment, has a limp on the right side due to past injuries that do not require further treatment, good with dogs and humans, sweet, not too active due to gimpy legs

Story
Fostered in: Danbury, CT Breed: Doberman Pinscher, Siberian Husky, American Bulldog & Jack Russell Terrier Mix Age: 1.5 Weight: Long, Lean & Tall! ... 49lbs right now but gaining! Health Notes: Healthy! Kids: Yes... we are looking for families with kids over 12 years of age because Lecia is still a pup with high energy! Cats: Yes! Dogs: Yes! Adoption Fee: $350 Adult Mixed Breed Dogs Lecia recently had her blood DNA test & she is Doberman Pinscher, Siberian Husky, American Bulldog & Jack Russell Terrier. Here is a description of Lecia from their foster family... If you are looking for a perfectly mid sized dog with energy that still can relax at the end of the day with you, look no further. Lecia is a major mix of dogs (per her DNA test) from Doberman and Great Dane to Jack Russell and Siberian Husky. Each oneof the breeds make her a strong, independent, loving and smarty pants dog. She gets along with most nice dogs but if a dog doesn't like her she won't like them either so we recommend she is an only pet. Lecia loves when you sing to her (she has her own song in her foster family's house) and she will communicate back in her own innovative ways. She will knock her water or food bowl if it is empty and howl/talk to you when she needs to go outside. She would do best in an active family that loves to play fetch (indoor or outdoor) and cuddle when she is tired. She truly is a one of kind sweet girl with the most amazing personality.

Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Rosie is an 18 month old female Doberman pinscher mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Sweet, well-socialized, friendly, loyal, typical shepherd temperament. Very intelligent. Great with other dogs and would welcome a dog buddy in her new home. Not recommended for cats because she likes to chase them. Recommended for older kids because Rosie feels a little nervous with young children. Medium-high energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with her people. When she first came to us, Rosie had heart-worms but she was treated and cured and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 55 pounds. AWESOME young shepherd mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed. Here's a note from Rosie's mom... 'We rescued Rosie last December when we found her wandering as a stray in Memphis. She was so sweet and well-behaved that we decided to keep her, but in recent months we've come to realize Rosie would be much happier in a quieter, calmer household. Our 3 young children are well-behaved but they're YOUNG and a bit much for Rosie. When the kids are at school, she's so calm but when they get home she really starts feeling nervous. We want the best life possible for Rosie and I know she would thrive in a quiet, calm household.'
