Story
I am looking to re-home our dog Sasha. She is an older dog that we got from the Montgomery County ARC about 5 years ago. She is a Doberman/Lab mix as best we can tell. Have found ourselves over extended and not able to give a dog the attention it needs. To be up front, this dog has serious separation anxiety and she needs a tremendous amount of attention to be happy that we are just unable to provide. She is also toileting in our home frequently even though she is house broken, and I believe it’s partly due to her anxiety and partly due to her getting older and us not being home so often to let her out or walk her. She can’t be crate trained which I tried. She also has food allergies and associated ear infections. She is a fence jumper. She does ok with our cat, NOT other dogs, wonderful with small children and babies. She’s a sweet girl, just needs someone extra patient.

Hi, I’m Millie! I’m affectionate, sweet, & playful. I am 3 years old. I’ve had the same owner since I was 6 weeks old. I weigh 65 llbs. I love to play tug of war with my rope & I’m very strong. I also love to cuddle & sleep under the covers. I am very attached to my owner & don’t like it when I can’t be with her. My owner is moving into a home with small children. I had a 2 month trial period to see how I would adjust to a more chaotic household with small children & other pets. Despite my higher energy levels, I have some anxiety & I do best in a quieter household with older children or no children. I do better with larger dogs over smaller dogs, because I don’t realize how large I am & I tend to play rough. I have lived with a cat & I did okay; though I do tend to want to chase the cat. I am leash trained with a harness. I travel in the car, though I can be nervous. I started on Prozac for my anxiety a week ago and I’m already feeling more relaxed and less anxious.

Buddy Boy.'s previous owner had to move to a place where dogs were not permitted. His friends were taking care of Buddy Boy for a while, but they did not want him permanently. Then Buddy Boy developed a condition where he kept losing his hair. When Buddy came here, our vet gave us some medicine. His hair is finally coming in close to normal. Buddy is very sweet and never complained about his situation. He would like to have a normal life again with a family to love him. Could you be Buddy Boy's special someone? He looks at you as though asking what do you want me to do.

Teddie is just a sweet guy with a big heart! This 6 or 7-year-old possible min pin mix loves playing and getting attention! He loves to hide under blankets, have his belly rubbed, and of course snuggle up with his human. Teddie is a friend to all creatures so a multi-animal household is no problem for him. He needs a place where he can have fun and just be a happy little dog so having other animals might be ideal. Teddie does have a special diet as he had bladder stones removed but it is a very manageable plan. He is both house and crate trained that is good even when he isn't crated. Teddie is an easy going 25ish pound fella that just wants to love and be loved. Teddie is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $150 and you can apply to adopt him at https://pawpatroldayton.com/adoptable-dogs. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Burrow is a very sweet and small senior Miniature Pinscher mix who is looking for a cuddle buddy. His favorite way to spend the day is snuggling with his favorite human on the sofa under a nice blanket and soaking up your love and attention. Burrow is house trained with regular potty breaks but isn't a fan of the crate. He prefers to follow around his humans to make sure they are okay as he gets really attached to them. He is hoping someone will adopt him who is home a lot and can give him the attention he deserves. Burrow is good on a leash, good with other dogs and has a good health report from the vet.
