Story
Dobie Buster is located in East Texas approximately 30 miles north of Nacogdoches. To Meet Dobie Buster in person, please text or call Penny @ 713-824-2737. Dobie Buster is approximately 60 pounds but needs to gain a few pounds. He is totally vetted, has all vaccines, neutered, micro chipped, is on monthly Heart Worm Prevention, on Flea and Tick prevention. Dobie Buster's family left him behind to fend for himself when he was about 6 months old. He wandered around the neighborhood searching for food. He was mistreated by many in this neighborhood. When one man threatened to shoot him, I was called to help him get to safety. While living with his previous family, he was around young children and did fine. Dobie Buster is very smart, wants to please you and gets nervous when he is not around his person. I believe with the right owner or family he would learn that he will not be left behind and make a great new family member.

Story
Major was found by my family about a month ago wandering around my job. He was extremely skinny and in despite need of love. We brought him home and started feeding him, loving on him, and trying to work on trust. His trust built fast with us! He has been a delight and is quite the character. But...... My family recently had to move and the landlord didn't want a dog on property who might dig holes in the yard. Unfortunately Major is a digger and the landlord has asked us to try and place him elsewhere due to his love of digging. This is a very hard thing for us and we really want him to go to a home who understands that sometimes, a dog just has to be a dog. Please help us find him a wonderful home.

Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted 6/29/18, and pictures taken 4/11/18 - Callan was surrendered on 4/11/18. An older woman contacted the Smith County, TX Shelter about her young dog. The officer who talked to her, called me to see if I could help, since the shelter cannot take owner surrenders. I had recently had some adoptions, so I told him that he caught me at a good time. He brought the young dog to me later that day, and I didn't get the dog's name from the home, so I named him Callan. I took Callan to the Gresham Veterinary Hospital on 4/13/18 to get vaccinated, he was listed as a Doberman mix, 1.5 years old, weighed 44.6 pounds, and was neutered by Dehart Veterinary Services on 4/14/18. Callan is good with adults and children, loves to play with the other dogs, has a high pitch bark, is good on a leash, and crate trained. He doesn't like to be crated at night, but is getting better. Callan's adoption fee is $85. Anyone interested in adopting him, please e-mail me at TMSGriffith@aol.com.
