Story
Hi my name is Perdita, Perddy for short. I'm a Kate's girl. My life before here was in a shelter and I was about to be put to sleep. But then this lady with Kate's said she'd take me in, so here I am. I get along with other dogs if I have slow proper introductions. Right now I'm living with 2 big siblings and 4 small ones. I love to go running around the yard and I can do circles really fast . I know how to sit and I k ow how to shake. I am 95% potty trained and crate trained. If you wanna meet me and think I'll make a good match just let the lovely ladies of Kate's rescue know and we'll set up our meet and greet. I hope to see you soon

Story
Hello world! I am Jessica. I was previously known to the rescue world as “Baby Jessica” when I was first found just over a year ago. I was adopted but my new family could not give me the care that I require so I am back in the rescue world looking for “the one”. I have a condition where the hip joints in my back legs are missing, so my rear leg mobility is a bit “stiff”. I am a happy go lucky girl; the handicap as others call it does not slow me down one bit! I am able to run and play with big and small dogs, at my foster moms home I had 3 bigger playmates and a few smaller ones too I did magnificent with them all. I don’t like to see my stiff legs as a handicap; I have just as much love to give as the next dog, just need a breather here and there. The vet says currently there is nothing they can, or need to do for my “condition”. As I mature and get older a cart might be needed to help with my old bones, but that’s a long ways away! I am barely a year young and got the energy to prove it. I need a loving family that understands my breed’s ways, and that can keep up with my puppy energy and teach me right from wrong. I am eager to please, but my attention span is rather small so you may have to bribe me with a few treats! I am spayed, up to date, and microchiped. I do good with dogs of all sizes, cats and kids. Though between you and me I could knock the tiny ones over and they might hurt me hanging on my back end so older children are best. Please help me find my forever place!  If you are interested in me send an email to katesrescue.org with the header “Jessica” and a rep will contact you with plenty of questions to make sure you are right for me.

Story
Hi, I'm Hank, I'm a 2 year male Husky, medium sized at 50 lbs or so.  I'm super friendly. For the most part I'm a very easy going Husky and I don't like to get in trouble, lol. I get along with most dogs but I do like to be the #1 male and I want your attention. I love to hang out with you and will be devoted to you if you love as I love you. I love to run, hike, and be outdoors but I can also be super mellow and just hang out. I'm fixed, utd on shots and ready for my furever home. My adoption fee is $200. I'm located in Angels Camp, Ca but my Foster Dad will consider all locations for the right fit. Want to be my new owner? Pleezzzze? If you are interested in me please fill out an adoption application and put Hank as the header.

Story
Meet Spyro! He is 4 years old and he is also deaf.  Spyro is house and crate trained! He is good with others dogs and cats as long as you go slow and do proper introductions. He is a bit afraid and can be a bully to people and other dogs/cats until he is comfortable. He would do best in a home without young kids because of that.   He knows some signs but he can be very hyper, where he tries to climb walls. When comfortable and calm, Spyro loves to sit in your lap and cuddle. His adoption fee is 200.00 and includes neuter, microchip, month of free pet insurance and being up to date on shots up to adoption.

Story
Meet Coco! Coco is a 2 year old Lab/ Great Dane mix. This girl loves human love. She is a hyper girl but listens and learns fast.  Coco can sit, stay and leave it. She is learning fast not to jump.  Also my foster mommy is telling me I have to wait when she comes and opens my gate or feeds me till she tells me it's ok.  I do not like those furry things they call cats. My foster mom won't let me chase those things she call chickens but they tease me all the time.  I'm learning to play with other dogs but right now I want to play ruff. I am learning it's better to play nice, so they are saying I need a real slow introduction with other dogs.  I love those little people my mom calls kids, they are just the right size I can give lots of kisses.  If you think I am a good fit for you please come meet me, and let's play ball. That is my favorite game ever! Coco's adoption fee is 200.00 and includes spay, microchip, month of free pet insurance and being up to date on shots up to adoption.

Story
Maggie is a sweet 3 year old dog who needs a home who can give her lots of love and attention. We are unsure as to what breed she is, but believe she has lab and shepherd in her. She is a huge sweetheart with adults and kids. She loves to cuddle and be petted! Some of her favorite things are attention, walks, car rides, and treats. She is not too much into toys, all she wants is love from her family. She can be somewhat playful, but enjoys relaxing more. Maggie needs to be the only dog in the home. She is vaccinated and spayed. If you are interested in her please fill out an adoption application and put Maggie as the header.
