Story
Olive is a 9 month old puppy. She's a very cute and playful dog. Unfortunately, she became a little more expensive than I thought and for that reason I am giving her away. She only likes canned food so it became a very large expense to me. Im looking for someone who has time to train her and play with her and most importantly give her the very best she deserves. She has a lot of energy which makes me the best pal ever.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Finn is a 1.5 years old, sweet, playful puppy. He gets along great with other dogs and would be a wonderful fit for a family because he loves kids. He is a small dachshund/chihuahua mix so if you have larger breed dogs you will need to supervise them when they play as Finn is very small and could get injured easily.  We require that you have another dog for Finn to be with because he is very social and enjoys the company of other dogs. This is very important. We are also requiring a fenced yard for him to run free and get all of his puppy energy out. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $60.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law. Thank you for supporting a dachshund in need.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Izzy is one of 12 puppies that were dumped in a small cardboard box. They were at risk of euthansia because nobody would step up the rescue them; until we did. Unfortunately they were in rough shape and needed extra veterinary care. It seemed that they were all beginning to thrive until they fell with Parvo. They struggled and we were certain that they may all die. Unfortunately 4 of them did. So we rallied around the remaining 8 hoping that they would show signs of improvements and they finally did. Eight of these puppies survived and Izzy is one of them. Izzy is a puppy and needs socialization with other dogs because she spent so much time in the hospital isolation; she didn't get to play with her siblings. We are looking for a home that has other dogs so that she can learn good behaviors and learn proper socialization. We do require that you own your home and have the time to spend training and loving on Izzy. If this is you, please fill out an adoption application today!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. Story
Our hearts are BROKEN, we had to abruptly leave our home. It's is the only place mowgli knew, we raised his there since he was 8 weeks old. We can not find a rental that will take him. Me and my kids need a home so this is our desperate step. Mowgli is amazing with people, kids especially! He may get to excited a jump and wrestle but stops when you tell him. He tolerates our cats but doesn't like them, and we haven't had enough practice socializing with other dogs. He will bark and pull anytime he's around one. This dog needs alot of love and energy. Please know that before taking him. It's like having a child.
