Story
My dog is going to be 2 years this December 2019. He loves to play and loves to be outside. His favorite toys are balls and loves to fetch. He can be scared of other dogs but he will get along with other pets once he gets to know them. He lets you know when he needs to use the restroom or wants to go outside. He is looking for someone who is able to take him out as much as possible and care for him.

Story
Riley is a three old Border Collie who loves to be active. I do not have time to run him or train him the way he needs to be. He is house trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands. He does have food aggression and protective of his back yard but is good at parks. He needs lots of exercise and probably some mental activity as well. He is quick to learn.

Story
Hattie aka Hildy (Hildegard, the Hildebeast) is a great housemate. She's housebroken, crate trained, non-destructive, loves her toys, and even got on board for Halloween costumes. Her favorite things are treats, toys, lounging, chasing critters in the yard, treats, taking walks, treats and riding in the car. Did we mention she likes treats? She walks well on leash, knows some commands and is eager to please. Hattie/Hildy is a little bit shy at first. She's been relaxing and learning how to be a dog over the last few months in her foster home, but needs slow introductions. She loves people of all sizes after a proper introduction and she warms up quickly after a sniff. Hildy likes some other dogs if they are calm and not reactive. She would be a great only dog, but could also have dog siblings (no cats or other small pets). She's best suited for a household with bigger children since she can play rough. She's about 3 years and would love a fenced yard to explore and play in.

XYLOPHONE HAS A REDUCED ADOPTION FEE OF ONLY $50 THROUGH MAY 15TH, THANKS TO THE BISSELL EMPTY THE SHELTERS ADOPTION EVENT. Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend-and, hey, so is Xylophone! Xylophone came to Furkids from an overcrowded county shelter. It takes her a long time to warm up to new people and places and because of this she needs to be in an adult only home. She has not bitten anyone in our care, but has the potential to do so if she is not handled carefully. Xylophone must go to a home with a fenced yard. Xylophone weighs 16.4 lbs., is approximately 3 years (est. birth date 09/21/2020), and her adoption fee is $175. Xylophone has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Xylophone, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
