Story
Teddy is a 6 year old lab/border collie mix. She is quite the laid back little lady and would love to find her forever home and family. Her owner passed away, leaving her homeless. Frankie was not used to coming inside and was an outside dog. W have been working on this but she will require a home where she can come inside and also have a fenced yard. Gotti found himself in dire straights when he was dumped in a neighborhood know for pit bull fighting. It was rumored that the boys in the neighborhood were trying to make him fight with other dogs. Gotti wanted no part of fighting and wound up with some superficial wounds which we have treated and he has healed now. Gotti gets along with about 20 other dogs here at our rescue. He loves to play and LOVES toys. He will make you smile when you speak to him and he tries to talk back. Gotti is the perfect pittie who yearns for his own forever home and family. where he can be the center of attention.. He knows sit, lay down, go to crate or safe spot. Lightning is five years of age and is a whippet/hound mix. He loves to run and chase toys and LOVES to bark and run after thunder and lightning. Lightning has to have his spleen removed last year when it ruptured but you would never know it. He is a happy, go lucky boy who loves attention. He will require lots of room to run and an active owner to give him the attention and exercise he needs.
