Story
Meet Zera, She is a petite 53 lb, 1 year old girl who is house trained, spayed, UTD on vacc., submissive with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She is very gentle with taking treats and has shown no food or toy aggression, and likes to chew on toys. She had a rough past and is timid when meeting new people but bonds strongly with her person and will be their shadow. She loves to be pet on and given attention which is enjoyable because she is super soft and silky. Zera hates being left alone, therefore, Zera requires a home where the person is home most of the time or she can go to work with them. She has separation anxiety in the kennel and will tear up stuff out of the kennel when home alone. Over night she sleeps on a dog bed next to the other dogs in the bedroom with her foster out of her kennel and does great not bothering the other dogs or tearing anything up. Zera will require a fenced in yard. Please visit  www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp  to fill out an application or message us for you. No phone calls please.  Zera's adoption fee is $250.

Story
***Adoption Pending*** Introducing Raisin!  This sweet girl is a 6 week old whose mom is a heeler mix, we’re not sure who dad is but expect the puppies to be 30-40lbs when grown but could be larger.  Raisin loves investigating and checking out new things but is always ready for some cuddles too!  Like all young puppies, Raisin will need an owner willing to have patience and teach her what is expected.  She will grow up to be an active dog and so a fenced in yard is required.  Raisin will have had 2 sets of shots, microchipped, and wormed.  She will come with a spay contract to be completed within 6 months.  You can apply to adopt via our website at  www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp  or email for an application if you cannot fill one out online. No phone calls accepted.  My adoption fee is $175 with a $75 deposit that is returned with proof of spay.

Story
***Adoption Pending*** Kizzy is an approx. 1.5 year old boxer mix (~39lbs). Kizzy is pretty mellow dog and while not submissive; she gets along well with all dogs that she been around. Kizzy is very much a people pleaser and takes direction well, and has loved every person she has met, big or small. Kizzy recently had her tooth removed and did not have access to her chew toys, during this time she did become a counter surfer but has learned to avoid the kitchen area with a verbal prompt. She is very athletic and can clear bushes and lawn chairs in her fosters yard so a at least 6ft fence is required. Kizzy is leash trained, house trained, and crate trained and has learned not to get on the furniture however she would love to be allowed to cuddle on the couch with you! Kizzy is spayed, UTD on vacc., microchipped, and kept on monthly preventatives. To apply to adopt Kizzy visit  www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp . If you cannot apply online, please message us for an application. No phone calls please.  Her adoption fee is $250.
