Story
We found stitch five years ago at a house down the street. How father was a black lab and mother was a Chihuahua. He was forced bred and abused and we took him from the owners to give him a better life that he deserves. At first he had really big issues with other people and other dogs. He is very protective of his home and his territory. After a lot of training and a few schools he is better behaved. He still barks at the mailman, and other brings passing by the house. But take him to a dog park with other dogs and he will love it. We sent him to live my inlaw grandparents to keep them company as they were passing. He loved being on the farm and run all day. Then sit by the lady boy with my grandfather to keep him company. After he had passed we stitch came to live with us again. He's a great loving dog who likes to play wrestle. He needs a lot of exercise that I can not provide anymore due to injuries I have sustained. He needs a home, he needs a pack.

Story
Anubis is from Austin TX adopted 3 years ago and moved up with us to Fort Riley when my husband stationed here. He has always been high anxiety and does not get along with dogs right away. He needs time to get to know them. He obsessively stalks cats in a pointer stance. He does not do well with children. I had a baby and he has been stressed beyond belief, developing OCD licking behavior to the point of licking sores into his forepaws. When he gets stressed and scared by other dogs he gets in fights and I'm worried when my baby starts crawling if she gets close to him he will snap at her. He is skiddish inside but loves playing outside, doesn't do his best on walks besides roads because of the cars, but trails he does okay and for a long time I could take him off leash to big fields and he would listen very well. This is no longer true with the baby. He needs lots of time and care in a quiet home.

Story
Cleopatra or Cleo for short, was surrendered to us due to allergies. Cleo is very distant and defensive towards new people, especially men. She will bark, growl and snap when being cornered or pushed by unknown people and is very protective of "her" people. It takes some time and patience to win over this girls heart but once you have it, you will have a super big and fluffy lapdog. Cleo does not know her size and loves to sleep on you or between your legs. She wants body contact all the time. Cleo has decent manners. She walks nicely on the leash, once she gets that first two minutes of energy bursts out, has a very good recall, knows sit and lay down and is 100% house trained. She will let you know when she needs to go out. We are looking for a home with dog experience, preferably with giant breeds and no children under 12. We will require several meetings with Cleo before going to her new home. CleopatraAdoption Fee is $162, which includes: Spay, Microchip, Vaccines ( Distemper & Rabies), Heartwormtest and deworming.
