Story
ST JEROME is a very loving and gentle pit bull who is deaf. He's about 5 years old and 70 lbs. His owner needs to re-home him for his own safety and protection because St. J does not get along with one of his other 2 pits.. He has visited several assisted living facilities and has been a joy to the residents. It is highly preferable that he be in a home with no other dogs. Its not known how he reacts to cats. He is good with all children although its better if he's with children over the age of 12. He is neutered, has current vaccinations, and is microchipped. He is a sweet boy who will be a loving friend and companion !

This bundle of love is neutered, has current vaccinations, and is microchipped. Come meet him. He is ready for his fur-ever home ! Adoption fee $ 150.

German Shepherd Dog Labrador Retriever

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bo is an 8 year old Shepherd/lab mix. He loves to be active and chase balls and frisbees in the yard (not a long distance chaser though). We have two young children and are unable to keep him due to him being too uncomfortable with them getting near him in his bed. He has never bit but did growl at my toddler who was beginning to pick on him. He has a history of being aggressive with other dogs, and once snapped at a cat who tried to snuggle up on him in his bed. We can't take the chance of something happening to a young kid who tends to wander to the dog's bed... Bo does great with older kids, he loves to play, run, and chase with them. He has done fine around cats as long as they keep to themselves. I think that most of his behavior issues have come from feeling neglected since having kids, but with the right home that can give him plenty of love and attention he can get back to the happy, loving furball he always was.

Story
Justice is a beautiful, energetic young lady. She is playful and quite exuberant. She has had some basic obedience training while enrolled in the Best Chance Program at LCMHF and knows how to sit, stay, lay down, and is good on a leash. She is likely housebroken. She does not seem to mind the cats at the shelter and she does well with dogs her age, size, and energy level. She might be a little too rambunctious for smaller children but that could change if she had a patient owner who was willing to continue with her training. She LOVES to run and would be a great indoor/outdoor farm dog too.
