Story
This is Melania. She's a very sweet and energetic 4 year-old black lab/chow mix. She loves to be outside running, and splashing in water EVERY chance she gets! She is great with kids and small dogs. She does not like cats very much. We are trying to find her a great new forever home, seeing as my husband and I have a very busy work schedule.

Story
Let me tell y'all about my friend Cannon! I adopted him from a co-worker of mine who rescued him from the street. He is about a year and a half old, up to date on shots, and house- and crate-trained. He gets along great with our other dog, but still requires close supervision around our cat. He gets along well with children, though he will sometimes try to snatch food from their hands if it's in his reach. I haven't taken him to be neutered yet, but am willing to do so if it makes the difference in finding him a forever home. He is a very high-energy dog, and would do best in a home that has a large yard or other space for him to run in. I am primarily rehoming him because I do not have such a space, which has resulted in a small, muddy yard and an unhappy landlord. He hasn't dug in a long time, but his constant running will kill grass if confined to too small a space. I love this dog very much and want to find him the best home I can. If you think that might be you please reach out!

Story
I found them why on a kayaking trip about 7-8 years ago. Someone had dumped them they were about 10 weeks old. They've been with me ever since. You're extremely smart, very well trained. On visible fence, pretty good in the house. In larger houses they sometimes might have an accident. But the past 3 years they've been living in a camper with me and have had zero accidents. Even when left alone 16 hours at a time. This is why I'm trying to find a new home because I don't have time for them that they should have. Extremely loving and all I want to do is snuggle. They love trying to chase rabbits and squirrels and dig up moles in the yard. They can be walked without leashes and will stay close. I just did a 32 mile hike with them the other day. They're about 9 lb each. They will shed if you don't keep them groomed. I groom them about twice a year. They sit, lay, come, dance, other words are Ride, outside, potty, treat. They're very active if you let them and we'll sleep all day also

They just want to play and be loved. They both can be very active, But will also sleep all day if you let them. Or leave them home alone. That's pretty much all they do when they're at home alone.

Story
Tucker is a Basset hound that we adopted in 2012 when we were living in Milwaukee. His birthday is St. Patty's day, and he was a year old when we adopted him. We were young and foolish adopting a dog in a 3rd floor walk up with busy schedules. We discovered that Tucker has severe separation anxiety common to most basset hounds. He howls when left alone. We loved him and kept him, brought him home to Kentucky with us. We always thought we would have a house with a yard for him by now, but for some years we are going to have to continue to live the apartment life. In an effort to help with Tuckers separation anxiety we found him a friend, Charlie who was rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia by a local rescue group. They make quite the pair and Charlie really brought a youthfulness back to Tucker. Two kids later and still no yard, I can barely keep my head above water. They deserve a home with a yard, a family with more time to walk them.
