Hello! My name is Tag and I am a calm & laid-back beagle boy that needs to find a new home. I am approx. 7 years old (but I might be older) and weigh 40 lbs. I was found as a stray and taken to a shelter in Virginia. I was probably on my own for some time before someone was able to catch me. Penny Angels saved my life when they rescued me from the shelter. Volunteers helped me find my way to New Jersey. Now, all I have to do is find someone who is ready to love me forever. I am a very sweet and polite boy. (I guess that means that I am well-mannered for my age.) I enjoy going out for walks (and will even help you practice safe-distancing from other people). I love to be around other dogs, but I’m not fond of cats. I am using the doggie door in Rescue and appear to be housetrained. I am up-to-date with all my vaccinations and ready to waddle my way into your heart. Are you interested? Please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels today. My name is Barlow and I am looking for a special home where I will be loved. I was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina and spent almost 3 weeks in a foster home before traveling up to Penny Angels. I am now ready to start my forever-home search. I am approx. 5-6 years old and weigh 25 lbs. I am a very quiet boy. I am shy when I first meet people and it takes some time for me to warm up to them. I don’t always make the first move to interact with people, so please be patient with me. I like playing with other dogs but would probably be better in a home by myself. My name is Ruthie and I am a cute and active girl that needs to find a new home. I was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina and spent almost 2 weeks in a foster home. I am approx. 3-4 yrs. old and weigh 20 lbs. I have a lot of energy and would be happy in an active home. I get along well with other dogs and like to play with them. I was fine with a cat in my foster home. I would do best in a home with older kids (or no kids) because I am rough when I play, though I do love people and like to give kisses. I know how to ‘sit’ and I am easy to bathe, but I will need to learn some basic manners. I would be a good fit for a patient person who is willing to work with me. I am highly food motivated so you can definitely use that to YOUR advantage when teaching me new things. I am using the doggie door to go potty outside but I know that I will have to learn new rules in your home. I am not fond of being in a crate right now, so a smaller room to keep me safe when you are gone would be a good idea. I am an explorer and can jump and climb over a 33-inch baby gate, so please keep that in mind if you use baby gates in your home. I will probably need to either be walked by my new owner OR find a home that has a privacy fence or a stockade fence at least 6 ft. high. Remove the temptation so that I am safe and secure with you! I like to spend time in the yard, checking out new things and rolling in the grass. My tail wags when I walk, especially when I catch a good scent! I was recently spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. The vet at the clinic said that I have dry eye and will need daily medicated drops and periodic eye pressure checks at the vet- for the rest of my life. I know it must seem like I will be extra work for you but I really just want to be your best friend. We will have fun together and you can teach me new things along the way! Kobe has been a loyal loving dog for the last 8 years my family had him. He has a lot of energy and is extremely athletic. He loves everyone and requires a lot of attention. He struggles with separation anxiety and has been spending the last year alone for the majority of weekdays, which isn’t ideal for him. I travel a lot for work and I keep finding myself boarding him on a weekly basis and no longer feel that is the best life for him.

Not sure the total background, however I know he does need to have some space at first. He is afraid of sunglasses and hoods, or at least not being able to see people’s faces. As well as first experience is super meaningful. He’s a great dog and loves to cuddle and play (a lot) love walks, energetic and goofy. Adapts fast and well, but also has to know who he is with at first. Absolutely loves playing with other dogs and has a blast in yards.
