Story
Pilot is a long-time resident of the shelter, our special boy looking for a special home! Pilot spent his life being passed around from home to home and never given any real love, until he came to the shelter in March of 2014. He needs a family that will be patient with him and work to show him how to bond with a human. He needs to be the only dog with no children, and a calm, stable household. His family should have knowledge of the breed and large dog experience. He loves to go for walks and play but is really mellow and likes to lay on his bed and relax. He is initially weary of strangers but loves to kiss the faces of those he loves and trusts - just ask his butler.....we mean, his very favorite volunteer. He knows his commands and is very treat motivated. He received his Canine Good Citizen certificate in 2015! Pilot has extensive food allergies (beef, corn, and yeast) and sensitivities to some cleaning products.Pilot is up to date on all shots and is neutered, micro-chipped, and housebroken. He is also awesome, so stop in and meet him today! We know his home is out there!
