Story
Description of pet Colt is an Amazing, Intelligent, Active dog. COLT: Will NOT going to just anyone. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU : *ARE NOT a Confident Dog Leader *DO NOT have Experience with Guarding breeds *Do NOT OWN a home with a FENCED in yard. We would love to find someone who would enjoy participating in ADVANCED OBEDIENCE TRAINING, Agility, Search and Rescue, or at the very least an avid runner, hiker , daily distance walker. Colt is very smart, he knows sit, down, chase your tail, speak, roll over, get it, leave it, he fetches and brings things back. He loves to play catch, fetch and tug. He also will carry his bowl around sometimes. Colt came to us after not being treated for his EPI and was supposed to be euthanized by his owner before we stepped in. Colt has EPI Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency and basically all he needs is a pancreatic Enzyme sprinkled on his food so he can absorb the nutrients. This enzyme will cost about $100 a month for his Pancreatic Enzymes. Colt is expected to be over 100bls when he gains all his weight back.

Story
Hannah is about 4 yrs old and so far she has been excellent here. She is playful but a fairly low key dog. She has really been quite an angel except for a bit of jumping up. I was informed by the Shelter FCDS that she was very reactive to small children at the shelter as well as with some dogs. All of this could be just because of the stress of the shelter environment but I would rather be cautious and say we are looking for a home with either no kids or kids 13 and older. I think Hannah will be dog selective at the least so a home with no other dogs is preferred If interested and think you might be the right fit for Hannah fill out an application which can be found at www.doggiedetour.org

Story
This is Charlie. Charlie has been without a home for way too long. Charlie was at Knox County for over 450 days when we pulled him. Before that he was at Pittie Paws where the conditions were so deplorable that Knox County took all the dogs away. Before that Charlie was with IHAD rescue where he was in a nice foster home with a dog and a cat but that was a long time ago. This beautiful picture of Charlie was taken back then. I have been told many things about Charlie from lots of people that have been around him mostly at the shelter. I have been told he is unpredictable, aggressive, will need tons of decompression time, prefers woman, prefers girl dogs, was good with a cat, does not like strangers..... What we have seen is a sweet affectionate dog who like to play with toys, lick faces, sleep and eat treats. We will take some more time to get to know Charlie better and update on any changes but if anyone thinks they can offer Charlie the home he needs and deserves feel free to put in an application at www.doggiedetour,.org or call me 740-251-8527 Upper Sandusky OH Charlie will need to meet any other dog before adoption

Story
BoBo is a 3 year old neutered male. He’s housebroken, loves children, good with cats. He has a very wiggly butt! Probably one of the happiest dogs I’ve ever met. He doesn’t do well with other male dogs. I will deliver him anywhere within the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, or Pennsylvania area. He needs a fenced yard.
