I found this dog couple months back in Grapeland Tx. at the Glen apts n my friend said it had been there bout a week n I had called my friend n asked if she would help me get this dog off the streets n find a forever home as she does rescues same as me, (that's why I cant take in anymore as I am way over my limit now n she said she couldnt take in anymore dogs either cus she was full too but she agreed to foster this dog but only on conditions that I would help her find it a home) n while we were in process of trying to get this dog, someone at the apts called the police to come pick up the dog n we thought we had lost her n didnt know what happened but I started investigating n come to find out she was taken to a Veterinary hospital/shelter which I was told between the police lady that brought her in n the hospital they would find her a home but that didnt happen n the police lady called me n told me they were gonna put her down next mornin if I didnt come get her so I went got her

Story
"The only thing constant in life is change." Due to the changes of life, we need to rehome a number of our pets. Our time schedules have altered, our health requires a little more attention, the budget has had to tighten up a bit, and the pack dynamics have shifted. We love them all, but God has made it quite clear we need to thin the herd. Jethro is a 6yo M Australian shepherd/Bird dog mix; neutered 53lbs. Yard dog. LOVES people, very attentive and eager to please. Good with bigger dogs, much smaller dogs(supervised), can get aggressive with dogs around his same size. Very trainable. Good at catching snakes and squirrels.

Story
Chrissy is a 9mo old F unknown 37 lbs. UTD on shots and heartworm. Yard dog for now. Rescued. Has had shots and wormed. Is gaining weight. Still VERY food oriented. Good with big dogs, supervise with small dogs. I picked her up from the gas station down the road. I could not leave her on the condition she was in. No one claimed her and we continued to care for her. We have never intended to keep her, just get her healthy and happy. "The only thing constant in life is change." Due to the changes of life, we need to rehome a number of our pets. Our time schedules have altered, our health requires a little more attention, and the pack dynamics have shifted. We love them all, but God has made it quite clear we need to thin the herd. I just want ALL of our babies to have the love, attention, and care they deserve, and we can no longer provide that. I'm starting school full time and my husband works full time.

Story
Harry is very friendly, his favorite place to be is curled up on a lap. He is medium sized, probably around 25 pounds right now. He is house trained and walks well on a leash. He gets along with all dogs he has met, and is scared of cats so just avoids them. He likes all ages of people as well. He hasn't been neutered or gotten his shots yet. He was dumped near my house and I'm not in a good position to keep him, though it is tempting because he is very sweet, so I would like to find him a good home. I can deliver quite far away from my current location, I travel to Austin regularly and can take him to other locations as well.
