Story
Einstein is a very special 3 year old wire haired terrier mix looking for a very special adopter. He was caught in a trap after roaming the streets for months and a 2-3 day mission exhaustive effort to catch him. He was on the streets after he was abandoned by his family when they moved away. We suspect he may have been abused and was neglected. He is dire need of love and socialization. He is afraid of human touch therefore he will needs a home with a lot of patients and love. Even with the fear he has never offered to bite. He would do best with a calm household with no children. He is good with other dogs. He chases cats but have never hurt one.

Story
Hi! My name is Crickett! I am a fun-loving, girl who loves my home life dearly. I am out-going, but I don’t care much for car rides or walks. I enjoy playing with other dogs, and spending cuddling time with you. I’m not a fan of males or many people in my home. My foster mom tells me all the time I am a sweetheart and I am! Crickett is approximately 5-6 years old terrier mix and weighs 15-20 lbs. She is house trained, and crate trained - though she prefers to not be crate and is not destructive when left on her own. She is vetted, spayed, & microchipped.

Story
Khalessi is a high energy sweet smart girl. She loves attention. She is a pit/pom mix. She tends to be alpha with females but she does fine with males. She is NOT good with cats. She can be toy and treat possessive. She generally does well with men but on occasion she will react negatively to certain men. We would recommend a home visit. As with all dogs we do recommend a slow careful introduction to other dogs. With positive one on one she has the potential to be an amazing dog. All foster pets have seen a vet. Dog's adoption fee includes up-to-date shots, microchip ID implant, free rabies vaccine, and free mandatory spay/neuter. All dogs live in foster homes during the week like regular pets and work on socialization and manners. Many are from local animal controls so their housetraining history is unknown; puppies are all working on housetraining. Come meet our adoptable dogs during our adoption events each Saturday and Sunday afternoon at Lubbock Petsmart on Slide Road. Not every pet comes to every adoption event, so make sure and call or email if you want to meet a specific pet. Many pets are not yet listed on Petfinder.com. --- Find us on https://www.facebook.com/scdrsnyder --- Please email SecondChanceResQ@gmail.com if you are interested in fostering, adopting, or volunteering.
