OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Very energetic and playful; loves to play with toys. Rowdy is treat motivated, but can be a little grabby when taking them from your hand. Supervision should be used if small children are around with food. Can walk nicely on the leash after a few moments. Knows the sit and shake commands. Picky about his doggy friends; would most likely chase a cat unless trained not to. Weighs 68 pounds; $25 to adopt.

OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Roscoe is a bit shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. If you are looking for a guard dog, Roscoe fits the bill – he looks intimidating behind a barrier, but is sweet once he knows you. He is not a fan of children, fast movement or loud noises. He will sit at your feet and paw at you for more attention. The best home for Roscoe would be one that has a yard, adults and a person to reassure him that everything is okay if he gets scared/nervous. He needs some work not pulling on the leash when going for walks, but appears house trained and knows the sit and shake commands. He appears to like toys, but is a little too nervous here to relax enough to play with him. Shelter life is hard for him, so the sooner he can be adopted, the better. Weighs 87 pounds; $25 to adopt.

She previously lived with another dog her size and they got along well. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Lilia is a sweetheart that loves to play with other dogs in our playgroups here at the shelter. She is a fetch master and will bring the toy right back to you each time and drop it at your feet! Best in a home that has no small animals. Weighs 63 pounds; $25 to adopt.
