Story
George is my sweet boy. He is a rescue (from a questionable rescue). He was skeletal and feral. He had no human contact really before me. Now he is playful and loving, though very shy. Think of George as a dog-shaped cat. He is skittish and likes being at home. Not a fan of walks, really. He likes balls and ropes and chasing them and pouncing on them. He likes to lie on his back and dangle toys from his paws. He knows his commands, but will look at you for a minute before complying. George is just a cat. And he LOVES cats. He likes to nuzzle his nose into their bellies. He never opens his mouth to them or chase to harm. He just wants to snuggle and wrestle with them. George is shy. Not a fan of people other than his people. He will run and hide (he's a cat). He feels no need for their approval or affection. It is mostly over, but he can still be a nervous piddler. He is good with his current dog sister, but not sure about how he would be with other dogs.

Story
Previous owners said that he was abused before, but he is a very sweet, and loving dog. He just doesn’t get along well with other animals. He would be perfect for us if we didn’t have two cats already, which he doesn’t get along with.

Story
If Atlas lived in a rural area he would be a perfect dog. We live in town. Atlas is 2.5 years old and weighs 95 lbs. We rescued him last June from undesireable living conditions. He's extremely well taken care of and is very loved here. He has chosen to be an outside dog. He doesn't show any signs of previous neglect, but is sensitive to correction. He's friendly, social, adores children, and gets along with all dogs. He is cheerful, has impeccable leash manners, and is perfect in public. He's an all around great dog, and I wish we could keep him, but he is not suited to in-town living. He recently learned to dig under our fence in order to roam, but returns within several hours. We're worried that he'll get hit by a car since we live in the middle of town and he now leaves regularly. Atlas needs to be in a rural area where he can come and go as he pleases with animals for him to look after or a companion dog. We are very familiar with his history and believe he would be a great LGD.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Name:ZoeyAge: 9 years Status: UTD on all shots, spayed & microchippedHealth Issues: Weight issuesCurrent Weight: 60 poundsAdoption Fee: $175Temperment: NOT good with other dogsMy name is Zoey & I am 9 years old. My human passed away & I was sent to a local shelter where their first priority was to put me on a weight loss plan to save my life. Did you know that a dog as overweight as I am can suffer from a heart attack just like a human? I do have hip & back issues that the rescues vet thinks will improve as my weight drops.  I am pee pad trained & I walk well on a leash. I do NOT do well with other dogs & will require a single dog home for this reason! I am spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. I have been tested for thyroid issues (negative). The vet has me on a diet and I'm tryin' hard to lose some of this weight. If you would be interested in being my gym partner & giving me my forever home, fill out an application with my name on it!PLEASE NOTE: In order to be considered in the as a potential adopter for this animal, we ask that you visit our website (www.lostfantasystables.org), click on the FORMS/APPLICATIONS tab in the menu on the left-hand side of the page, and fill out an adoption application. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Name: Missy Age: 7 years Status: UTD on all shots, spayed & microchipped Health Issues: None Current Weight: 10 pounds Adoption Fee: $175 Temperament: Good with other dogs & cats   Hi, friends!!! I'm Missy. My foster mom sometimes calls me Little Miss, though, because I'm such a diva. I'm a cuddly little girl who sleeps under the covers and loves to be toted around by my foster mom. I looove toys. My favorite game to play is fetch, and I also like to wrestle with my foster brother! While I don't necessarily NEED a companion animal, I sure would LOVE to have a brother or sister at home to play with. I am scheduled to visit the dentist at the beginning of April and will be ready for my furever home after that! If you think you might be interested in 'dopting me, just fill out an adoption application & my foster mama will get in touch with you!   PLEASE NOTE: In order to be considered in the as a potential adopter for this animal, we ask that you visit our website (www.lostfantasystables.org), click on the FORMS/APPLICATIONS tab in the menu on the left-hand side of the page, and fill out an adoption application.
