Nina Bean is our sweet and funny resident here at Hopewell Animal Services. Always smiling and ready to play, this girl is ready to play a game of fetch or chase! Story
Hey There! My name is Cesear and I found myself at the shelter after I was picked up trying to get into Food Lion. What? A boy was hungry! Everybody was happy to see I had a Microchip but even after endless attempts to call the number listed and to email, no one ever called the shelter back or came looking for me. So here I am, the big goof in the shelter. Just waiting for someone to come adopt me. *I am dog selective* and would do best as an ONLY dog. However, I absolutely adore my people, car rides and all things involving treats! I am a very large boy so please take this into consideration!! NO on cats

Story
Zoe is a beautiful 5 year old purebred American Bulldog. Loves to play and loves love! Enjoys going on walks, although she gets very excited to walk. She has been around children her whole life, but not around other animals. House broken & crate trained. At home she’s a laid back dog and outside she loves to have fun. Unfortunately due to a very demanding work schedule, it is unfair to keep her alone for most of the day everyday. She is up to date on her shots.

Story
We are Iris and Maya! Iris is the all white German Shepherd. I am super loving and a huge couch potato. I turned 2 years old in January and I love to be petted in my stomach and behind my ears. I am really loyal and I love everyone especially my sister Maya. I go crazy whenever she is not around because we grew up together. Maya is almost 3 years old and is a little more independent. I sometimes pretend like I don’t like affection but deep down inside I like it more than Iris, but Iris is jealous and likes to steal all the affection so I have to get it while she isn’t looking. I am more independent and like to sniff around to find new things. Iris is always there being nosey. I like to pretend like I don’t care but when Iris isn’t around I go crazy too. We love each other very much and can’t seem to be apart. I like to sleep all day and I am extremely lazy in the morning hours. I am more serious about my sleep than Iris but I like to run a lot when I wake up. Maya is spayed Iris is not

Story
Ariel is a beautiful, gentle and loving girl. She is almost 8 years and is the sweetest girl. She is a California girl, where we adopted her. We are a military family that adopted her while stationed in California. We are now being ordered to Germany and are unable to take her with us due to her mixed breed and weight. Ariel is a gentle tank, weighing approximately 105 lbs. She is still very active, taking 3-5 mile walks everyday and occasionally going to dog parks to socialize. She is great with other dogs but smaller dogs feel threatened by her because of her mass. She is great with her kitten brother and sister and plays gently with them. She is also very good with our daughter, who loves to play with her.
