Story
Last attempt before taking Libby back to the shelter this week. Child adopted her from the animal shelter, over a year later got accepted to UW, could only take one of the two dogs. They took the one they’ve had since 10. Libby is 16 years old. These breeds can live till they are 23 to 25. She runs around like a pup. My child was told that the previous owners were deceased. Later found out one of the owners went into a nursing home. Recently, took her for a trip for almost 3 weeks. We had sitters for our main dog. She only barked to come in from outside once she became the only dog for 3 weeks. She went back to feeling like she’s fighting for attention now that we are back. She hates her nails trimmed. So, her vet prescribed Gabapentin & I have a muzzle to help. She still tries to bite during nail trimming. I recommend she be the only animal with no kids. I say that about kids not from experience but because of her constant barking with the other dogs.

Story
Uzi (male) & Diamond (female) are 2 year old beautiful energetic American Bulldogs. They are sister & brother whom have been together since birth but I am now looking for separate homes that’ll show them love and give them attention as individuals. Both are extremely loving animals that aim to please. They have had obedience training so know the basic commands but also have been taught a few fun ones like shake etc. Uzi would do alright with children & other pets but uncertain about Diamond, from experience I would say not so much. Her personality reflects more of a guard dog then her brother’s clown one. They are opposites in many ways, one likes the snow, one doesn’t & one likes to sleep in whereas the other doesn’t. The American Bulldog breed has so much to offer and they definitely live up to their breeds characteristics so knowledge on the breed before would be beneficial & almost a must, not just with this breed but of course with any.

Story
Zoey is a great young lady, she is great with my 6 year old and really loves to snuggle. In the couple months she has been with us we have worked hard with potty training but still needs to be watched. She plays good with our other dog and knows sit very well and working on staying. It makes us all kind of sad that she cannot stay here but with my 2 kids, another larger dog and relatively small house we just don’t have room. The reason why I have her is because my neighbor got her dropped off to babysit for a weekend and never picked her back up and doesn’t want anything to do with her. Just want to find zoey a nice family to love her the way she needs!
