Story
Rescue Story: I was brought to the ACCC who thought I was feral but Zoe's took a chance on me and it turns out I have so much love to give! Date of Birth: January 2016 Energy Level: Medium Size (adult): Large Good with Dogs? Unknown If cat friendly and not high energy I should be ok with proper introductions. Good with Cats? Yes I really love to play with other cats, and do need another playful cat in the home. One who loves to be chased! Good with Kids? Unknown If gentle, most likely. Critter Twitter: I may be 4 years old, but I still act like a kitten. I love to play, and try so hard to get the resident cat to play with me. I may be a bit shy with new people, but once I trust you, I LOVE YOU. I love to cuddle up as close as possible and will even hug you around the neck. #soocute #besteyeliner About my Behaviour: I need a calm home with another cat friendly cat who wants a playmate. How’s my Health? I am neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. I was shaved due to being severely matted.

Story
Hi there, my name is Travis!I am a very handsome, long hair, male neutered cat who is looking for my very special "furever home."I have been staying with my good friends at South Side Animal Hospital since spring as I was surrendered from my previous home.I wasn't a good fit with my previous family and I am hoping my furever family will be the perfect fit for me!You see, I can get aroused very easily, sometimes by noises, sometimes by other animals outside (neighborhood cats in the yard and especially those doggies), and I have a history of redirecting in a fear-aggressive way. I would get very overwhelmed, and it would come natural for me to redirect when I became scared or angry. I have been spending a lot of time working on my behaviors and having humans learn more about me. I have been making much progress, even if it is slow progress! I think I heard the humans say they are working on behavior modifications with me and I don't mind it one bit! I have gotten a full haircut while hanging out with my friends at South Side animal hospital, they like to say it was a "lion" haircut, how cool! My hair is now growing back very nicely. I like to lounge and hang out with the staff as they have all been very kind to me. I also like to run around and play with my toys too! They are teaching me that I don't need to be afraid of everything! I am still learning to be around other animals but I will say I do prefer to be by myself and just my human friends! I love to be brushed and I do love to cuddle.I am still "blossoming" every day and I would love a home and furever family to share my life with. My furever home would have to be mostly quiet or not very chaotic as I thrive in an environment where it is quiet and I can stay relaxed and not have to be overwhelmed or scared. I have been an indoor/outdoor cat previously, however, I think I would blossom better as an indoor only cat that can stay away from any outdoor neighborhood cats. I really dislike dogs, I will need a home without any dogs.My wonderful veterinarian at South Side Animal Hospital, Dr. Heather Steele, has been allowing me to hang out at her clinic while we try to find my furever home. It might take a while but we are all very hopeful we can find my furever family! If you have any questions about me or would like to meet me - please call the clinic and talk to the staff!Love Travis!

Story
Hi My name is Roxy Barry, and I am a beautiful young lady. I have come so far in my growth and socialization with the rescue. I love people and getting pets and rub up to my foster mama and if she stops petting, I will head butt her!!. I love checking out the new things in the home. There is a chill doggie and I am okay with that. Some cats are cool too, if they like me too! To meet me, please fill out an adoption application found on our website :) Love Roxy
