Story
A1286737 Katniss is approximately 4-year-old, 9-pound, spayed female, Longhaired Cat.She entered the shelter as a stray and gave birth to litter of kittens. She was in foster care until her kittens were weaned and was then spayed by our medical team.Katniss doesn’t put her best paw forward—being scared and stressed causes her to hiss when you first approach. However, this is all just a show from a sweet mama cat who was likely abandoned, ended up in the shelter, then gave birth less than 48 hours later! You’ll hear her soft, plaintive mews, and see she wants affection…she’s simply a little confused. As she builds trust in you, her hiss alternates with loud, rumbling purrs as she makes biscuits. Though nervous about being picked up (she runs & hides) she slowly gets more comfortable with it. She is VERY playful, will chase slithery toys on fishing lines until panting. She is a fantastic mama who deserves to be loved & cared for herself now! Give her a chance, and you’ll see this “fierce” lady is truly a sweetheart.

Story
Alice is the love of my life. It absolutely breaks my heart to give her and her sister Lucy up for adoption. Due to the loss of my job and the need to move in with a roommate who is allergic to cats, I have to re home them. Alice is the best cuddler. She loves to sit on your chest and cuddle next to you while you sleep. She’s very playful, friendly to kids and adults. Has been around dogs before in her life and just takes a little while to warm up to them, but then she’s happy! Seriously, I couldn’t imagine a better cat than Alice. If you decide to adopt my baby, please, please... love her with all of your heart. She deserves the very best home.

Story
Koda is almost 6 years old, adopted originally from humane society as a kitten. He’s snuggly so a home with a cuddler would be ideal for him to love on!

Story
Serene the Lump aka “Lumpy” is cuddly and lazy! :) She is a beautiful, indoor kitty of about 9 years. She has lovely green eyes, and is long-haired. She is healthy and up to date on vaccinations & is not declawed. Her favorite pastime is cuddling, with her person or in favorite places such as laundry baskets, etc.She is shy around new folks and usually won’t come out until meeting them a couple times;then she gets social. She loves to play with crumpled paper balls. We are looking to rehome her as she cannot cohabitate with our dog.I also have more breathing issues now. She does have a urination issue outside the litter box, which we believe is from the dog; she uses the litter box regularly, but also goes outside as territorial behavior. It wasn't an issue prior to adopting the dog. We hope that she can find a loving, dog-free home with owners who have ample free time to give her lots of love.
