Story
Cashew is the sweetest little boy you’ll meet who goes NUTS for pets. The moment you look at this little guy he’s purring and running up to you. If he had it his way he’d be getting pets all day long! He’s super friendly and doesn’t mind being handled or held. If anyone’s looking for a new friend Cashew is your guy! Cashew is currently being fostered in West Hartford with his brother Almond.  He was born around 12/29/19 and is fixed, up-to-date on shots and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.  If you are interested in adopting Cashew, please submit an application which can be found on our website at www.fosterandforever.org.

Story
Meet Orby! This handsome orange tabby is approximately 3 years old. He is currently living in a loving foster home in Georgia. Since he is FIV positive, he has been living in the foster’s teen age son’s room where he likes to sleep in the bed with his foster “brother” and hang and with his friends. He is very laid back most of the time but loves to play with the laser light. This amazing, beautiful, lovable kitty is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, and microchipped. Orby has everything going for him EXCEPT he tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This does not mean he can’t live a happy, normal life. He is healthy and the virus may never progress any further. Orby is not contagious to humans or dogs. He gets along well with other cats and would be a good companion to another FIV cat. The virus can only be transmitted to other cats through a deep bite wound which normally happens during mating or when unneutered males fight over territory or females. Orby says, “DON‘T be afraid of me, even though I’m positive for FIV; I’m a healthy boy who intends to live a very long time, LOVING the person who adopts me”. Orby simply has too much love to give to be without a human companion and home to call his own. Orby’s adoption fee is $150.00 dollars with the following vetting- neutered, up to date rabies shot, wormed and microchipped! This fee includes transportation. Due to COVID 19, we will only make one delivery on Sat 4/11 to these four cities taking all necessary precautions: Salem, NH Newburgh, NY Bordentown, NJ Harrisburg, PA We are a Georgia based rescue so all of our cats are located in Georgia in loving foster homes. We have our own transport, which takes adopted pets North several times per month. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at www.sosrescuega.org/application You do not have a chance to meet these pets prior to adopting but fosters can Facetime or video chat.
We'll also keep you updated on Orby's adoption status with email updates.
