Story
November is a beautiful cat with a sweet soul who has experienced many changes in her life. Just like people animals experience a range of emotions and process the trauma they have encountered in their lives in different ways. To help November adjust to the shelter we worked with an animal communicator that we have had great success with. November came from Florida in the hopes of finding her forever home, however, the transport has set her back as it was another change in her life. November is very trusting of other nice cats and depends on them for providing her comfort, but she has lost faith in us humans. November is sad as she lost all of her kitty friends when she came to NH and feels abandoned by the people she has encountered. She misses the smells of a home cooked meal, we have learned that chicken is her favorite treat. She has been with us at Sarl for about two months and has been comforted by new kitty friends and it is very important that she goes home with one of them. Although we can only touch her when she is sitting behind another cat, dedicated staff and volunteers spend time with her everyday talking, singing and reading stories to her and the other kitties in the room. November longs for the long term stability of a home and for a safe quiet life with one of her kitty friends. November will need time and patience from her prospective adopter. Cats can live up to 20 years, you need to consider this when adopting and choosing the age of the cat you wish to adopt to give them a lifelong, stable home as you are making a commitment for the lifetime of the animal.

Story
Edwin is a sweet little boy. He is on the shyer side but is full of love once he feels comfortable. He loves to sit next to my leg and snuggle while getting his much-loved belly rubs. Edwin loves to play with sting toys! He will need a home with a quiet nurturing adopter, one that will give him the time he needs to settle in. You will not be disappointment with this quiet, sweet boy. The adopter must be comfortable with sitting on the floor and getting to his level in order to connect with him.
