Story
Here's a story about a cat named Sue. When she got to the shelter, she didn't know what to do. She cowered in corners and hid under towels. The stress of the shelter made her withdrawal. Fast forward a few months and Sue is ready to introduce herself to you! Sue is one of our longtime resident cats and would really like to start her new journey as a house cat. Sue loves pets down her back and will reward your affection with additional head-butts. She is a social eater and likes to have a snack when you come by to visit. Her perfect home would be one that wouldn't mind if she needed to excuse herself for a while. And, they would give her a quiet, safe space to retreat to. She would adore a family with acceptance. Come meet sweet Sue today.

Story
Check out what Sasha's foster has to say about her: "Sasha is a cuddle bunny. I come in the room and she purrs and meows and rubs on my legs. I lay down on the floor to check my email and she curls up under my head and neck. One night she was stressed so I slept on the floor with her. She curled up under the covers at my chest and purred till I fell asleep. She was still there in the morning. When I leave a blanket on the floor she burrows into it. I call her if she is hiding in a blanket and she chirps so I know where she is. She would not be good at hide and seek because she gives herself away.😉 Sasha's former owner reports that she is sweet and shy and was good about letting small kids try to play with her. She did fine with the dog and other cat in the home.

Story
Morris wants you to know that each cat is an individual, and all cats have different personalities. Some are warm and physically affectionate, much in the manner of dogs. Others are more reserved. Maybe they prefer shorter pets or to show their affection in a different way. That doesn't mean they love you any less. Morris is a sweet, friendly guy who'd love to be part of your family!

Story
We got Ash & Cinder from Petsmart via the Williamson County Animal shelter at the beginning of August. We have had them for about 2 weeks now. We already have 3 dogs and the addition of 2 cats overwhelms our house and our landlord. Ash & Cinder are truly great cats. We’ve never had any better. We haven’t been scratched or bit once. They both like to be pet and held and purr all the time. They will sleep with us and our 3 dogs and overall get along with them. They get a little startled if the dogs run at them. Ash is a little more cautious but is adjusting well. Cinder will often sleep on my husbands desk while he’s on his computer or in his lap and Ash will be nearby on top of the couch. They hang out with us when we get ready in the mornings. They like to be a part of what everyone else is doing and be around people. Cinder prefers a quiet corner to watch if everyone is being lazy while Ash likes to be in the middle to see everything. They are super sweet and lovable kittens!

Story
I adopted these two sweethearts from WILCO Animal Shelter on September 28th not realizing that my dog has a high prey drive. After 3 long weeks of trying to introduce them, Zoe (my sweet faced border-collie), just wants to attack them. :( They have a $90 3-tier cage that will come free with their rehoming. Along with another $150 worth of cat toys/litter box/food/etc. I just want to find them a good home. I would prefer they get rehomed together, if at all possible. While they are not brother and sister they do have a very strong bond. Astrid is partially blind in one eye but that does not stop her. She loves to explore and is very independent. Bjorn was her kennel buddy and he is a big time lover. If you love leg rubs and head butts, he's your man. He also gives love nibbles which is so sweet. Astrid is affectionate, as well, but she makes you work for it. lol I hate to have to rehome them, but Zoe I've had for 5 years and I cannot part with her.
