Story
Both of these girls are from California and were saved from shelters. Muffin is 4.5 and Cuppy is 4. They are bonded and must stay together. Looking for someone who is home a lot (they hate being alone) and willing to give them lots of love and affection. Muffin was a feral kitten when we got her so she is extremely shy and scared of just about everything. Cuppy on the other hand, is spirited, sassy, and outgoing. Both will want lots of affection once they warm up.

Starla is the typical Tortie, she doesn't have an attitude but she is shy. When she DOES like attention, she LOVES it. And if Kip (her brother who she is bonded to) is getting attention, she really wants it too.

Story
Sammy is an adoptable cat at The Whole Cat and Kaboodle in Kirkland. She is very shy, but incredibly sweet and affectionate once she warms up to you. Sammy came to us needing help getting back to a healthy weight, which we are working on with a high quality diet and good exercise. Each store has cats for adoption, but Redmond's adoption kennels are permanent, meaning that we never need to foster out those cats, and they get to peaceably live at our Café until a family takes them home. When a cat has been on site at Kirkland for over 2 months, they get put on a transfer list for Redmond as soon as a spot opens up. Cats over 12 years are preferentially hosted at Redmond due to the permanent situation of the kennels there. All of our adoptable cats, regardless of home shelter, will have the following before they are released for adoption: Spay/neuter, microchip, current vaccines, FeLV test (depending on the level of risk, some cats may also receive the FIV test), flea-free, worm treatment, ringworm treatment, and recent vet visit. For more information, please call (425) 307 - 1008!

Story
Jezebel is a cuddly, loving sweetheart with the typical tortietude- she will love your affection, until she suddenly doesnt! Shes absolutely adorable and will love you forever once you win her over. Shes a sensitive, anxiety prone cat who takes a long time to warm up and become comfortable with new people, which I suspect contributes to her problem. My home with 2 kids and another cat and frequent moving has been hard on her. I think she needs more peace and stability. She has been getting reoccurring UTIs for the past few months, which clear up after a couple weeks of antibiotics, and then seem to come right back and lead to peeing blood on the carpet. I've made the dietary and environmental changes I can, but they dont seem to be enough. She needs a diagnostic xray next to see if she has stones, and I cant afford anymore healthcare for her. As a single mom I've spent $1800 on her so far, and I just dont have anymore money that I can spend to continue with diagnostics and treatment.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Looking for a loving home for our 7 year old tabby cat, Ariel. She is spayed and box trained. Ariel is a sweet cat with specific needs in her new home. She has bonded to me and is very affectionate, but has always been fearful of men since we adopted her as a young cat. She was feral prior to coming to the shelter where we adopted, and we suspect she had a rough start in life. She can coexist with other cats but would be better as an only pet, as she likes to be the alpha. We are looking to re-home her as we have a 2 year old and one on the way, and she hasn't adjusted well to the noise and activity of having a child in the home. Ideal home would be a woman looking for a sweet lap kitty, with no kids or other pets. We love her and want the best for her, unfortunately our home is no longer a good situation for her due to all the noise and activity.

Story
Millie is a fun loving and snuggly 9 year old tortoiseshell cat. She has been exclusively a house cat since birth. She needs a new home that will love her and take good care of her. She can be a little shy to strangers. She really loves having her belly rubbed. She has been raised with another cat who is her best friend and a dog. They all get along well. She is great with children as well.

Story
When we got Lucy 7 years ago as a kitten she was diagnosed with Feline Herpes. As an older cat she is always symptomatic and has discharge from her left eye. We have tried a variety of Lysine supplements/treats and none have worked to resolve her discharge issue. She may or may not be shedding the virus year round. We think it is important to tell every prospective adopter this. She has never had a flare up as significant as when she was a kitten. Lucy is not the best with young kids (under 10-12). She can be aggressive if you try to handle her when she does not want to be held, but will give warnings to tell you how she feels. Lucy also has a sensitive stomach and does not take well to most foods. She has been eating Darwin's raw chicken diet and Blue Buffalo Wilderness Indoor Adult cat dry food. We went through ~15 different types of food when she was a kitten that caused diarrhea and intestinal issues for her, but she has been doing well for years with the 2 foods mentioned above.
