Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Breah is a 5yo female Fiest mix being surrendered by her owners in TN.  The family's situation has changed, they're now traveling much more and Breah doesn't do well being boarded so often.  She's a little anxious and doesn't like being alone for long periods, so Breah's ideal family would have somebody around most of the time. Sweet, affectionate, loves to be with her people. Especially good with kids. Not recommended for other dogs, as she is fearful of them and very reactive. Not cat tested. Medium-high energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house.  Housebroken. Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 35 pounds.  This is a sweet little dog who will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for a 'one-dog family' who's home a lot. Story
Pollyanna is a very special girl who will capture you her heart before you can even blink. She may bark for half a second, but then will immediately jump into your arms, wanting nothing more than to shower you with affection. She certainly hopes you will do the same. The best way to make her love you more than anyone in the world, simply scratch her back and rub her belly. She will be yours forever after that. She loves most to sleep with you and just be around you. Whether you are chilling on the sofa or in bed ready to drift off, she will delight you with pure companionship. She does not mind cats, but gets a bit nervous around other dogs. A house where she can remain star of the show as your best canine love would be best for her. She has a protective streak and will bark at people she does not know, but quickly calms down when shown they are no threat. She is very good at letting you know when she wants to go outside, but is also well trained with puppy pads. She has a big investigative streak when she first arrives at a new place. She will need a fenced yard with room to explore. This little angel has so much love to give and is ready for her forever family to receive all that she has to offer.  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Sputnik is the Russian word for satellite and the perfect name for this little guy.  You will be the center of his universe and he will totally revolve around you.  Sputnik is 10 years old and he weighs about 15 lbs.  He is a super sweet boy who is just looking for a loving family for the rest of his life.  He loves to cuddle up with in a blanket as he borrows underneath the covers to get comfy.  That is his favorite place.  When not snoozing under the covers, Sputnik is following you wherever you go.  Do not top too quickly as he will run into you.  He is great with children and would be a wonderful family pet.  Sputnik loves other dogs but would also be great as an only dog.  He is super sweet and very friendly.  It would be ideal for him to have a fenced in area outside where he can 'smell the roses'.  His little nose just loves to go.  Sputnik walks OK on a leash and he rides well in the car.  He will be a loyal companion and keep you smiling.  Sputnik is current on all his shots, neutered and microchipped.  He is ready for his forever home and we hope that it will be with you.  To be considered for Sputnik's forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net or 615-943-7311.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Sputnik is in Tennessee and can be transported to the northeast upon adoption.  Due to state regulations we are unable to adopt to residents of MA and RI.)

Story
Anndalina**** Anndalina is part of our TLC program. Our TLC club members receive special follow-up help when adopted into their new home including visits with a professional behaviorist. Speak to our volunteers about more information regarding our TLC members.****6 year old female, chi mix. black with white, no kids, okay with some dogs, basics of potty training.Anndalina came to us as an emergency surrender. This poor girl was trying to chew her tail off and needed emergency treatment. We rushed her into our vet and it was determined her tail would need to be amputated to prevent any infection from spreading. This poor nervous girl was whisked into surgery and brought back to one of our foster homes. Anndalina has had a rough beginning to her life and she will need a patient and understanding home to help her become the dog we know she can be. We would recommend she go to a child free home and a home where her Chihuahua bark will not be a problem. A nice quiet couple or single person would be the ideal place for her as she can become overwhelmed with too many visitors. Once she bonds to her people she is very affectionate but it will take a while for this nervous girl to settle into any new home and she will need to be given time to calm and adjust. Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes. The first step in meeting one of our furry friends is to fill out an application on our website at <a href=''www.rainbowrescues.org''>www.rainbowrescues.org</a>. A volunteer will be in contact with you in 1-2 business days to review your application and speak with you about the adoption process. Our adoption fees at this time are $250 for Adult dogs, $300 for puppies (6 months and under), $100 for senior dogs, $100 for cats, and a $50 fee for small animals. **Please be aware that we are not responsible for inaccurate information on some cross-posted sites such as inaccurate adoption fees and inaccurate pet info.**

Story
Cookie**** Cookie is part of our TLC program. Our TLC club members receive special follow-up help when adopted into their new home including visits with a professional behaviorist. Speak to our volunteers about more information regarding our TLC members.**** 8 year 10 month old male Chihuahua, not good with children or cats, good with dogs, basic potty trainedCookie is looking for a quiet home that will give him lots of time to warm up to them. Cookie is a very nervous boy who was pulled from a hoarding situation where he got very little socialization. He is currently fostered with dogs and has done very well with them. Needs to be kept on a schedule for continued house training. He does like to chase cats so he would not do well in a home with cats. Cookie cannot go to a home with children as they will overwhelm him and it would set him up for failure in his road to recovery. Cookie tends to take better to women than men but has started to come up to his foster mother's brother. Cookie will need a very patient home that will not push him and give him all the time he needs to become comfortable with them. Once he is comfortable he is a sweet boy who will look for some love and attention on his terms. He would love to be adopted with his brother Beau. Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes. Beau**** Beau is part of our TLC program. Our TLC club members receive special follow-up help when adopted into their new home including visits with a professional behaviorist. Speak to our volunteers about more information regarding our TLC members.****8 year 10 month old, male chihuahua, good with some dogs, no kids, no cats, knows basics of potty training but does have accidentsBeau is looking for a home that will give him time to become the sweet boy he is. He came from a bad breeding situation where he had very little socialization and very little exercise. He has been doing very well trusting people and would like a home that will continue that work with trust building and socialization. Beau usually takes to women better than men although he has been working on making friends with his foster's brother. Beau is currently fostered with other dogs and would do ok in a home with a play buddy of equal size. No cats for Beau as he loves to chase them. Beau would do best in a quiet home with no children and little foot traffic where he won't be pressured into any uncomfortable situations. Once he becomes attached to his people he is very loving and sweet but will need time to warm up to any new people or situation. Please consider adopting Beau and Cookie Monster together, you would have a ready made family who will love you forever. Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes.
