Thought to be about 11 - 12 months old, the Chihuahua-mix we call Checkers came in with his friend (possibly brother?) Chess after being found running along a country road by themselves.Both boys are friendly, outgoing boys - eager to meet new friends and eager to be a part of the next adventure. Chess & Checkers appear to have had prior house-training experience and are now neutered, up to date on vaccinations and on preventives for heart worms, intestinal worms, tick & fleas.If you are interested in one or both of our cuties, please give us a call at 580-252-7387.For more information, please email Stephens County Humane Society at schs@att.net, or call us at 580-252-7387 (PETS). Our animals are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and treated for ticks, & fleas. Cats are tested for FeLV & FIV; and dogs are tested for heart worms.Normal adoption fee for cats is $75.00; and $100.00 for dogs, but we frequently have specials running and/or animals who have had their adoption fee sponsored, so ... call us!
