Story
Freeway is a big handsome lunk of love! I bet you can't guess how he came about his name! Ha! Freeway's history is unknown so from rescued on an interstate, to the vet to rescue is how we've gotten to know him. He was a gentleman at the vet in boarding for about 2 weeks. Didn't react to any dogs barking at him at all. He was introduced to the pack at rescue and did fine as well. He is a BIG boy. He does not jump on people. He does like to give kisses and he barks because he is out in the kennel and not in the house! He really wants to be chillin on the couch with you. He has a "knot" on his rear leg and a scar so maybe he had an injury at one time. Doesn't seem to bother him or affect his mobility. He is fixed, up to date on shots, heart worm negative and ready for a home of his own. Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms. Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $170 adoption and $160 transportation = $330. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.
