Story
Ranger is a great, extremely loving animal with an outgoing personality and extremely friendly disposition. He is a very, very active dog, who loves chasing balls and going for walks a couple times a day at least. He has a very soft coat of fur, and loves to meet new people and dogs. I don’t think he has ever been unhappy to see someone new. He does get nervous when trucks or busses come by. Sometimes when Ranger is home and tired, he likes to go off and sleep in a quiet space away from others. He is also a highly intelligent dog, who can learn tricks and skills with relative ease. Ranger has no violent behaviors, he’s a bit of a softie. However, he does have a loud bark that he will gladly show off if the mailman comes by! In summary, Ranger is a very active, very loving dog who does require some extra time to take care of.

You will not be forgotten... Dumped at a high kill shelter in her most time of need, after years of what probably was the best one could expect from a companion, and nonetheless right before Christmas. I have to wonder, was it a new Christmas puppy coming that made you do what you did?  Maybe it was a combination of her age and tumors that convinced you that her time was up and to spare you the expense and wait at a vet clinic it was just easier to drop her off at the shelter.  Did she walk in on her own will, with shaky legs. An angel stepped in to save her without a plan because she will not be able to eat, sleep or enjoy the holiday festivities if sher didn't. I dont even care how it will interrupt my life, she deserves to live her golden years in the best way possible.  Her first priority was to get her here to Camp Dogrrr, she will not be the first neglected senior who has lived out their last year or so here at the farm and she will be with us inside while we open presents on Christmas Day and yes she will have one of her own under the tree as well. She will have the best bed I can find for her old bones and she will be treated as one of the family because I dont know her, but I Love her already. I break into tears at what I think may be going through her mind as to what she did wrong. I want to hug her and tell her she is the best dog ever and I will.  She will have friends and get lots of petting and everyday she will feel the love that you never gave her since she was a puppy and I question even then. Mary is about 80lbs, 13 years old and she is so sweet! She gets along with all other dogs and cats and kids. She is an older girl and she is a strong survivor! She is hard of hearing and has Vestibular Disease, which makes her dizzy, so car rides are hard for her. She has arthritis and she went through a tough cancer surgery a few months ago. She is a wonderful girl. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.  The standard minimum donation for puppies is $325 + 8.25% tax =  $351.81, for dogs over 12 months the adoption fee is $225 + 8.25% tax = $243.66 and for our senior dogs 8 years and up is $100 + 8.25% tax = $108.25; this increase includes sales tax recently required by the State of Texas to collect.  You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org.  For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org.   Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process. Quinn is about 3 years old, chocolate lab mix (not sure the other breed). She is great with kids - we have a 9, 5, and 3 month old and they have friends over all the time. She knows how to sit, go lay in her bed, knows “ok” is her release word (releasing her from sitting/ laying down commands or allowing her to eat something, etc). She loves playing fetch, tug of war, and bubbles. Loves running outside and laying/basking in the sun. She only needs work on the leash and how to act when someone is at the door - she can act aggressive. Other than those two things - she is a great dog.
