Name: Lilac Breed: American Fox Hound Mix Approximate Age: 5 years, DOB Nov 5, 2014 (guess) Approximate Weight: 48 lbs. Location: Delaware, (we adopt out of state) Introducing Lilac….. Lilac came to our rescue November 2019 from a high kill shelter in NC. She was emaciated, had lots of hair loss, limping and needing to be spayed. We put her on meds for her hair loss and skin infection and found out she had a torn ACL. Lilac has gained weight and grown all her hair back and had ACL Surgery Nov 4, 2020. Now it is the end of February 2020 and she is nice and healthy. Lilac is back on all 4 paws and doing great. Lilac does well walking on a leash, and loves riding in a car. She is crate-trained and house-trained and gets along with other dogs, no cats though. Lilac needs a climb proof fenced in yard or must be leash walked, since she knows how to climb a wire fence. Lilac is spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro-chipped If you are interested in Lilac, please fill out our application which can be found on our web site www.itavar.com. **HENNA AND SADIE ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER**Henna is a 7.5 year spayed female American Foxhound mix who weighs about 60 lbs. Henna and Sadie found their way to All 4 Paws after their owner passed away. Our hearts just break for these sweet girls - they were so sad and confused to lose their person. They really rely on each other, especially after having their entire world turned upside down, so we are requiring that these wonderful hound sisters stay together. We have promised Sadie and Henna that we will find them an amazing family, so they can once again be the beloved pets they deserve to be. Henna is absolutely gorgeous and has a sweet and gentle temperament to match! She's a friendly and social girl who makes friends with everyone she meets and has a happy, playful way about her! Henna is great with other dogs and enjoys romping around outside and exploring with her doggie buddies. She's an active and fun-loving girl who enjoys the outdoors and would make a great hiking, camping, or running buddy - however, she is just as skilled at being a cuddlebug on the couch! Henna will need a home without cats, as she has a prey drive. She is housebroken, crate trained, and full of personality! These gorgeous girls are going to make awesome companions for the person who gives them a chance! We cannot wait for these amazing girls to find a wonderful family TOGETHER.
