Story
WESTERN NC INQUIRIES, ONLY! We love this gentle soul, and feel he'd do best with a 1-on-1 situation, rather than a sanctuary with ~45  mostly smaller breeds(mostly Beagles). Cache deserves more peace in his life! CACHE dob: March 26, 2013-m/n, Husky/FoxhoundX-50lbs..rescued along with his litter mates and mother, after they were abandoned in a rural farming community in western NC.         Gentle, loving and devoted. HOUSEBROKEN. RIDES WELL. WALKS WELL ON-LEASH. Gets along with all gentle, non-aggressive, well-socialized dogs of all genders and breeds. NEVER confrontational.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         He would make an EXCELLENT COMPANION for an experienced dog-person who has a love for the outdoors and understands the needs of a larger houndX who need to be at one with Mother Nature, in a safe environment. So, REQUIRES a decent-sized 5' fenced-in area(NOT a dog lot nor kennel/ABSOLUTELY NO dog lots, kennels, NOR TIE-OUTS-we research this!!).  Seeking an active early retiree or work-from-home person 35>65yo).  Not used to being around children, so an older(12y+) dog-experienced, respectful child might be a good match (he's shy and prefers his crate to being over-stimulated). Would LOVE to sleep beside his person in a dog bed, on the couch or beside you in bed and to be an integral part of your daily activities...gardening, hiking, meandering, hanging out on the deck soaking up the sun's rays. An active yet quiet life is what Cache needs...do you think this boy fit your needs/lifestyle?  Adoption fee: $95(to the RIGHT person who matches CACHE's needs).                                UTD on all yrly vax, monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention, neutered, micro-chipped.                H4S will be happy to send you more pix of Cache in action, upon request! To apply to adopt Cache, please complete the application provided at: www.howlin4spirit.org/adoption-adoption/...you must copy an paste the app in to a new email, then go to the end of each question and type in your answers...email to: howlin4spirit@gmail.com at your earliest convenience, to help your chances of being approved ahead of any other potential applicants.
