Story
I am Benny! I am an energetic boy who loves attention. I prefer not to be alone for long periods of time. I am very playful but LOVE my break time form being busy playing. I know quite a bit, you can call me a doggie Einstein, I will sit down when you ask me to and I will give you my "hand" if tell me to......and I like to get goodies in return.

Story
Meet Buster! Buster is a 3 year old, male, Hound Mastiff mix. He weighs about 80 lbs, is potty trained, crate trained and walks great on leash. Buster needs daily walks but he also likes to cuddle with you on the couch. Once he gets his exercise in he’s a big lug:) He knows some commands like sit, shake, crate, and lay down but would love to learn more! He’s doing great in his foster home with his 8 doggy friends but we are unsure how he is with cat but we know for sure he’s not good with livestock.  He is good with kids but doesn’t understand his size as most big dogs do not so they may take a stumble.   He is also okay being left home alone uncrated! Buster was first adopted out as a puppy then returned 7 months ago only 1 1/2 years old. Then at the beginning of this month this poor boy was adopted and now 4 weeks later returned because he was unable to get along with the families livestock. Buster then got adopted yet again only to be returned in under 24 hours because his size was too much for his new fur sibling. Buster is a big loving excitable boy who just wants his furever home!  If you are interested in meeting Buster, please apply at www.hhfrescue.org The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip, a lifetime registration of the microchip, and sales tax. If adopting a puppy, the rabies and spay/neuter will be done at the same time by our vet once they are 4 months old and billed to us. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

Story
Bruno is 2 years old, we adopted him from Barc shelter, He was an owner surrender. Apartment life is not for him. He loves to play with other dogs and run around, so he needs a yard, we would take him to the park but sometimes with our schedules we don’t have time to take him. He loves bones/treats, rope toys, and tennis balls. He’s a very silly dog and has two different colored eyes, one is brown and one is blue, his personality and unique looks makes him different and a loving dog!! He is up to date on his shots, microchipped, and neutered!!! He’s a great dog who need a loving home and parents!!!

Story
Leia is a sweetheart with lots of energy and loves attention. She needs a home where her forever family will have the time and energy to play with her and show her love. Current owner is too busy to provide a stable home but doesn't want to surrender her to a shelter out of fear she would cross the rainbow bridge. Leia loves to shake, lick peanut butter off the spoon, fetch and is looking for her life partner to go on runs and cuddle up watching movies and tv. If you adopt this sweet baby girl, she will be the love of your life. 2 years old. Schnauzer/fox hound/adorable mix. Favorite song is "Cha Cha Slide." Favorite movie is "Lilo and Stitch."

Story
Mills - Foxhound/Boxer Mix - Male - 10 Months - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Meet Mills: This gorgeous and boisterous young male American Foxhound/Boxer mix was rescued as a stay, believe it or not and has thrived in his foster home! Mills is currently about 45 lbs, and should top our around 60 lbs or so. He LOVES playing with other dogs, large and small, his favorite playmate is GSD Mix Aries, they love to play a little rough and wrestle and run. Mills also has learned to play much gentler with smaller dogs, adjusting his playing style accordingly. Mills is fine around older kids, he's most likely to rambunctious around smaller children and may barrel them over. Mills is a bit of a "diamond in the rough with a little dirt and noise on it", he has all the potential to make a perfect family dog, like all puppies/adolescent dogs he'll need Patience, Training and Exercise. Mills is looking for an active home, preferably with another dog in it for him to play with and a family to include him in daily activities. ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
