Hi! Thanks for noticing me! I am currently at the Norfolk Animal Care & Adoption Center on stray hold while I wait for my owner(s) to come find me. During my stray hold we are taking adoption applications. If not reclaimed by my owner(s), then I will be available for adoption on “11/17/23”. Meet Honey! She's one incredibly sweet and goofy two year old hound mix. Honey came out of an unfortunate situation in South Hampton county but has settled in quickly with her foster family. She's a comfortable 45 pounds, loves kisses and attention. She is great with other dogs and frequents doggy day care! Her foster family has two smaller senior dogs who she enjoys lounging around with. Honey loves toys and entertaining herself in the back yard tossing them around. She just can't get enough couch time and snuggles with her foster family but loves going on long walks and does great on a leash. Honey is heartworm positive and going through the slow kill treatment, if you are interested in her, you can foster her through the treatment and adopt her when she is heartworm negative. He is very grateful for his new life and is eager and curious to see all that this world has to offer. Percy is an energetic young man who loves his walks, car rides and hanging out with his foster dog family. She doesn’t bark a lot she’s a quiet girl. She’s super sweet and kind. She is up to date on everything and I can supply all her medical records. She eats normal dog food nothing expensive. Hello, my name is Angel! I am approximately 3 years old and love to run around in the grass and sniff everything in sight. I love singing to my human, especially when the sun starts to come out because I miss her and want her to wake up already! It seems like she likes it so I make sure to do it every morning. I love to play with toys and I love to chase after a tennis ball that you throw. I walk great on the leash after a little bit of excitement I calm down and get the hang of a relaxed walk. I love other dogs big and small, but I’m not too sure about small kids jumping on me just yet. Maybe just grown up kids. I’m sorry but I get scared easily. I am very sweet they say, and my eyes will melt your heart! I hope I can win you over. My mom said It wasn't hard to win her over so I’m not worried. I’m a great companion and a hyper one too. I hope you’ll consider me, I know you will!!! ❤️❤️ (UTD on shots, and neutered)
