His tail never stopped wagging!Fast forward after waiting and hoping someone would claim this fabulous boy he is now ready to move on and find the perfect forever family!Benson is undergoing Heartworm treatment so we are hoping for a Foster that can take him home and spoil him while he undergoes treatment!Benson seems to love everyone and every dog he meets! He keeps his kennel clean. Loves to go for walks and lounge in the sunshine!Benson has been neutered, we have microchipped and updated all vaccines including rabies. He was surrendered there because his previous owner thought they were getting a small beagle puppy and in 4 months grew too big. He's not a beagle but we believe he's a Foxhound. His adoption fee is $350 which includes his neuter, rabies, distemper, bordatella, and microchip. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Application Hi! My name is Kinzey, and I am a 6 year old American Foxhound mix. I was adopted 4 years ago, and my new mommy and I were absolutely crazy about each other. Sadly, my new mommy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Now, I am back in a foster home, and while I really like it here, I would love to find my fur-ever home again. I am a silly, smart, loveable, playful cuddlebug. I like to play, but I am perfectly content to amuse myself while you do your thing, and I love to snuggle up next to you while you relax. I give the best hugs!!! I'm a little shy around new people, but with a little time and patience, I always come around. I am house-trained and love to go for car rides and WALKS - walks are the BEST!!! My foster says that I am close to being the PERFECT DOG. I attach to my family very quickly and have some anxiety when they leave me alone. I can bust out of crates and would do best in a home with a stay at home parent, not a necessity; however, I have destroyed some things I shouldn't have, such as carpeting and walls because I was trying to get to my family. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccinations. If you would like to meet me (and I sure HOPE you do!), I will be at our adoption events. We're at the Potomac Mills PetSmart every Sunday from 12:30 - 3:00. The address is 13337 Worth Ave, Woodbridge VA 22192. On the 2nd Saturday of each month we are also at the Lorton PetValu located at 9427 Lorton Market St, Lorton VA. We're there from 12:00 - 2:00.
